Update: I just heard from my sister and the baby has no heartbeat. She is still waiting to talk to the doctor. I'm trying to be optimistic and hoping that maybe she just isn't as far along as she thinks she is, but with the fact that her levels dropped last week, I'm thinking maybe this is just the beginning of the end. I just don't know how she is going to handle this. She had already told me that she doesn't know what she is going to do if she loses this baby too. My heart is breaking for her.
After everything seemed to be getting back to normal with my sister and I and we seem to be talking again after the whole SIDS fiasco, I get a sad text from her. I had been keeping it a secret, but now I need your thoughts and prayers. My sister found out 2 weeks ago that she is expecting again. We are so happy for her and know that this will finally be a step in the healing process over losing her daughter. She got a call from the doctor today saying that her levels aren't going up like she had hoped and that her progesterone was a 14, but it is now a 10 so the doctor is going to put her progesterone pills and hope that everything will be ok. My sister is obviously freaking out because she heard that this happens right before a m/c. Please keep her and her little bean in your thoughts and prayers. I am praying that this all works out for her. She does have a 5 year old little boy that keeps her going, but she so much wants another baby.
*Facebook friends - please stay hush about this on my facebook since only our family knows.

Your sister is definitely in my thoughts and prayers! I really hope she has a healthy sticky bean in there.

I hope everything is okay and she doesn't m/c but a p4 level that dips or changes isn't always indicative of a miscarriage (maybe the doctor is seeing other numbers that aren't good?) Do you know what her beta hcg #'s are? If they are doubling every 24 hours than the pregnancy is looking good. Hopefully the increase in progesterone supplements is all that's needed. I'll definately keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
I don't know what her exact hcg levels, but she did say that they did not increase as the doctor had hoped they would.
OMG thoughts and prayers for her!!! Those progesterone supplements work wonders tho. I had them with my pregnancy with my daughter and carried full term (and then some lol)
I was hoping some of you would share some of your own experiences. Makes me feel hopeful that everything will work out. She goes Friday for another check after being on the supplements for a week and they are going to do an u/s then too. I just hope her hcg levels increase by then too. Fingers and toes crossed!
Well it can take anywhere from 24-72 hours to double so hopefully it's just going slow right now.
Definitely thinking of her and hoping for the best!
