1. Chicco Keyfit 30 (reusing from DD... Still well within exp date)

2. Chicco Cortina (reusing from DD... Part of the travel system) Also have a smaller Mia Moda with excellent sun coverage.

3. Ring sling for T2T carry (my cousin is making me another one... The one I used with DD is a bit girly.) & still want to buy an Ergo

I feel like a total slacker! I have not bought anything. I thought I would wait until after my showers and see what still needed to be purchased.

Don't worry, I haven't bought anything either and I probably won't have any showers. It's planned out in the budget though and worse case senario - if he came early - we turn one of my daughter's convertable graco seats to rear facing and he'll have a car seat.

1. true fit recline. I'm going straight to a convertible. Don't have it yet either. We plan on getting it last of September probably. I just don't see a point in having it when it will just sit in a box. I'll order it around 36 weeks probably.

2. Already have a phil and teds double, so I don't need a stroller. Smile

3. Already have a beco. I also need to buy a bigger size k'tan though I think. So that will probably get bought beginning of October.

1. Evenflo Embrace. Reusing from DS.
2. The travel system. Love the Evenflo strollers. Haven't decided if I will do a sit n stand yet.
3. My new moby wrap (can't wait!) and my previous ones (a sling and snuggie)

To the ladies that haven't gotten anything yet... My childbirth instructor told us that as long as you have a place for a baby to sleep and a carseat to go home in, that's all you really need. Then she added that we may need a few clothes... and a hat! She was hilarious!!!

1. Car Seat Chicco Key Fit... 35 I think?? I got the orange-y one
2. Stroller Haven't decided on one yet.
3. Babywearing method Either the Ergo or the Beco Butterfly or Gemini. Still deciding since I haven't been able to actually try on the Ergo yet.

Annmarie how do you like your Beco?? Did you look at the Ergo also before getting the Beco? What made you decide on the Beco? And which style do you have? (sorry for the interrogation lol)

I actually got the beco because I heard good things about it and didn't know a lot about the Ergo. I looove it though. I have the butterfly 2 because I got it about 2.5 years ago and they didn't have the gemini out. I wanted to buy the gemini last year, but since I thought I wasn't going to have any more kids for a while (ooppppps) I didn't ;).

BUT I always say the Beco is better because you can transfer the baby to your back really easily because it has the extra piece of fabric in it. I also heard the beco works better if your short (which I am) so I'm glad I choose this one.

Some people complain about it being hotter than the Ergo, but honestly...anything is hot when you have a baby strapped to you. I wore Rowynn all last summer in it and we were fine.

Have you checked at Our New Baby? Do they have Ergos? I went recently to look at car seats and cribs but I couldn't look around much because my children were wild in there and I just wanted to get out. Wink
I think BRU is supposed to have Ergos, but I don't know if the one in town has it or not...I haven't seen them, but I haven't looked carefully either. If they do have them they'll be in the front where the breast pump stuff is because I know I saw bjorns there.

1. Car Seat- Eddie Bauer from DS (bought green in case I had a girl this time so it would be gender neutral!)
2. Stroller- Part of the travel system
3. Babywearing method- I have a hotsling from DS that he HATED being in (didn't like being confined) and I am also going to borrow a friend's Mai Tai to try out and see how she likes it. I did register for a Chicco Ultrasoft carrier.

Compact Stroller

1. Evenflo
2. Still looking for one. I don't want a monstrous stroller. I want a really compact stroller that I can still use with a newborn.
3. Yep, I purchased a sling and I have a basic baby carrier.

1 Keyfit30 in Miro
2 Cortina stroller in Miro, part of a travel system. I also have my Maclaren Vogue and Runabout jogger, both from DS. I could never part with them!
3 Currently I have my 2 original style Maya Wraps from DS. They were my favorite. I'll eventually add things as baby gets older, but I adore my ring slings.

I have a Graco safe seat left from my last two dd's. I did have to get my 4 year old a new carseat in order to "upgrade" my next two in line to the next seat up, but we did that last month. We don't really use strollers at all. Maybe I will pick up a new umbrella stroller at a thrift store sometime for my toddler to use from time to time. Baby will use an Ergo carrier that I already have. Basically, babies don't need much, and we don't have space for anything anyway, so we are all set. Smile

1. We have a Chicco Keyfit - Cubes
2. First Years Wave
3. I have one of those Seven slings that I got free and a Chicco Ultrasoft Carrier. I had a Baby Bjorn with DS and he hated it as did I so I gave it away. I decided to get something cheaper this time just in case it doesn't work out.

1. Car Seat - Peg Perego SIP in Paloma
2. Stroller - Uppababy Vista
3. Babywearing method - I do not like to baby wear so nothing.

With our stroller we have the option of having the carseat snapped in and it also has a twin seat that attaches so you can push with the carseat/twin seat or both seats for when baby gets older. You can also change the direction that your child faces which I love as I want to be able to *see* my child... plus we are also in the country and if it's windy your child isn't headfirst into the wind. We bought the stroller/carseat for Clara last year so we only upgraded by buying the attachable twin seat. I don't have any pictures of it all put together with the twin seat so I'll try to get one later.

Here are some pics of Clara testing out her new seat once baby comes! I love how this stroller goes so many different ways.

1 I have a Graco infant seat left o er from dd2. My d
friend is giving me her peg perego seat though.

2. I just bought a new Peg Perego Pilko 3. I love it and Mélodie loves riding on the back! I have a Graco that is good for the snow but I wanted something more streamlined for Mall and summer use.

3. Mai Tie! I loved it with Mélodie and I'm hoping I'll love it again!

1) My office bought us our carseats, Graco 35 I think, for a gift. It was very generous cuz those things are pricey. We had borrowed one for DS & that particular friend is having a baby in January so we had to get two.

2)We are debating between a Bob Duallie & the Mountain Buggy Duet that doesn't come out until Oct sometime. Honestly I'm not too keen on spending $700 on a double stroller but I think it'll be the one thing that saves me from cabin fever.

3) I've got a ring sling & a Mei Tai from DS & have just purchased an Ergo. Again all for a peace of sanity. Hahaha...

1) Chicco KeyFit 30 (it's green and brown)
2) Part of the travel system
3) I have one of those seven slings that a friend gave me, but I am still kind of interested in getting something that gets the baby a little more "locked in"

Yeah I've looked at ONB (OMG TOTALLY btdt on wild kid in that place... what is it with toddlers going CRAZY in there?! Last time we were in there looking at furniture S grabbed one of the flier things for the cribs and started ripping it up, balling it up, and throwing it HARD at the poor guy who was trying to help us decide on furniture )

BRU- they have the ERGO online but not in our store that I have seen. Last I was in there was... a month ago MAYBE?

I wonder if anywhere in Montgomery would have them in store? I tried on a beco in Hawaii but I can't remember if it was a Butterfly or Gemini. I liked it. I'm short too, so... Plus I like that you can do the baby facing in or out when you front-carry with the beco.

I couldn't live without my stroller... I am not into baby wearing AT ALL and I love that I can just throw the diaper bag and shopping bags in there and off I go.

The Gemini is the only one you can do facing out. So keep that in mind if you get the beco. Smile I think if you tried it on and liked it, you should just go with that. I don't think you'd like the ergo any "better". It would probably be the same if nothing else.

1. Car Seat- Britax Chaperone in Cowmooflage

3. Babywearing method- again Ive collected a few but my FAVORITE is the Babyhawk Mei Tai.

You can always get a new cover for it. I sew - so it's a little easier for me, but you may be able to find a friend that could make a new cover for you. Just a thought rather than have to spend so much money just because the cover is girly.
