Traveling

Hi ladies! I just got back from a 10 day trip. Did a little business in Ft. Lauderdale for a few days then hopped on a cruise out of San Juan with a friend. I have to say traveling in the 2nd trimester is SO much easier than the first! I am scared to step on the scale this morning! I was pretty nervous I would feel sick or worry and not enjoy myself. NOPE! My appetite was in full swing and it was great to give myself a mental rest. The only downside was I'm still pretty tired and had to have a daily nap. Just wanted to share my experience and say I'm back Smile Unfortunately my car was destroyed by the tornado that hit the St Louis airport. I guess I parked in the wrong parking lot! So it might be time to start car shopping, whether I want to or not!

It's so exciting to see all the gender results! We aren't finding out, so it really tugs on my heart to want to know now...

sounds like tons of fun! I'm jealous of the cruise and can totally relate to needing a nap! Feels like I have more energy during the day, but still need that nap to keep it up. That stinks about your car, but car shopping can be fun too. Hope everything goes smoothly with insurance and all.

If you are on vacation you are required to nap in the afternoon anyways pregnant or not. Wink Glad you had a great time and sorry about your car.

Glad you had such a nice time on the cruise. Even if the scale is a little scary, it's really nice that you felt good and were able to really enjoy yourself. Smile

Sorry about your car! Those pictures on the news were awful. We are in the market for a new car, too. So, if you find anything promising please share.

not sure what the insurance is going to do with the car. We're hoping they will consider it flooded and total it. We had a Toyota Highlander and really liked it, so hoping to stay in the SUV category.

Good news--- the scale wasn't too bad! I was expecting somewhere between 7 and 9 lb gain over the 10 day trip.. 3 pounds was it!!!! Woohoo! Going to the dr. tomorrow for an appt and u/s. Not sure what for though Smile
