Update on us

I'm not sure why I never post anymore. I have a lot of you guys on FB so I sometimes forget that I haven't actually visited. Will try to do better.
So Kessler almost has his bottom teeth. They've been coming in for ages. After a month of incworming backwards Kessler is also finally crawling forwards and pulling up on things. About two weeks ago I had to move him out of his crib until my breathable bumpers came. He just kept getting stuck in the slats.

In other news, an unexpected Art postition opened up just 15 mintues from my house, so I knew that I had to apply. I wasn't 100% ready to go back to work, but when you're an Art teacher in a rural area, you kind of have to take it when you get it. I haven't had the chance to teach art for 5 years, so I am thrilled that I got the offer. I figured out childcare and my little girl will get to go to my school and I'll be her art teaher. I'm teaching K-12. So I'm just trying to savor our summer and enjoy it all before I get tossed back into the working mom world. I've really enjoyed my year and half break, but I'm also excited about finally getting back in art room.

That's about it for now. I promise I will do my best to post once again and maybe the board will pick up more once the Summer ends.

Aw see that's why we all need to post more! I took the breathable bumpers OUT of Caleb's crib about a month ago, the little monkey was using them to stand on and trying to climb out. I could have mailed them to you! They're super cute too hehe.

Congrats on your new job!

Thanks. And yep that could have saved me a few bucks, but oh well....yes, they're not really on the cute end of things, but they are actually starting to make ones with prints now...not that any of them really went with his bedding. When I get around to the fabrice store, I think I may add a strip of fabric that matches the bedding I made. You can run it along the top and bottom to cover up the satin edging.
