Weekend QOTD

What is your favorite purchase or gift so far? Did you get any baby gear items that you just can't wait to try out for the first time? Add pics if you can. Smile

I got this for Caleb and I just can't wait to put him in it! I'm not sure why... But it just seems so snuggly and warm!

My favorite for myself so far is my new diaper bag, I got a JJB Be Prepared in pretty tweet.
Can't wait to try out my new double stroller, a graco quatro tour duo, a wonderful gift from my in-laws.

haven't bought many "fun" items. Just the necessities at this point. I suppose the most exciting part for me is seeing the nursery start to come together.
As far as "gifts" my parents gave me money that I've managed to stretch to get most everything. So that's been pretty nice. My inlaws suck and haven't done a thing for their first grandboy.

a sweet super soft white croched blanket that Finn picked out for the baby. Both my older boys are attached to similar ones.
My friends here are a little slow. They are having a shower for me next Friday. And another friend keeps talking about having one with her circle of friends but I dont know if she will get it together. I dont need much but I wish the shower would come already so I can go get the few little things that I do need.
Oh and we just bought two expensive carseats for my older boys so that the infant seat will fit in the backseat with them. It is pretty exciting to see 3 carseats in my car!

OH! How do you like the Be prepared? Do you feel like it's super huge? I still can't decide between the BFF and the Be prepared lol. Pretty tweet is SOO cute!

Mine are the same, they only seem to care about the kids there daughters have, but the ones there sons have forget it. Drives me crazy.

Only things I am excited about is my new Mei Tai carrier, it is so cute and I brought him his first AC/DC t-shirt. Although it is size 6-9 months so it will be a while. DH likes all the old rock/heavy bands so it was for him really but still excited as it is too cute lol

It's pretty big for one (I've been using it for dd the last few weeks), but it will be just right for two. I don't drive, so when I'm out and about I need to have enough with me for however long I plan to be out and a little bit longer.

This is me too... I've had DH's work offer to do a shower but no details have followed. And, my cousin offered to do a small, just close family shower but no details have followed. I only have 3 weeks left. I'm stuck not knowing if I should buy before my 20% off coupon expires or just wait & see.

This is me... I think I'm leaning more toward the BFF. I'm thinking the backpack straps might come in handy when I need both hands free on occasion. I wish I could see them. I have to order sight unseen. Sad Are the new patterns out yet? I thought it was supposed to be this week... they had a few surprise peeks on their blog but I haven't checked again.
