Weight Loss...already :(

SOooooo, I def have lost 10lbs already and I onli weigh 115 to begin with Sad I cant seem to gain any type of appetite at all and meat...you can forget that! Its just so gross to me right now. My docs have ordered me to start my lovely ensure diet (which I was on with Zara bc I onli gained 16lbs, but I didnt lose any like I am this time around) since Im already 10 lbs in the whole. Plz give me any advice on gaining this weight other than the obvious answer: "eat"

With my first DD I only lost weight for the first 20 weeks. They then had me start protein shakes every day. It really helped I gained 3lbs I think the first week. Went on to only gain 20lbs total. Good luck.

I had the same problem and did carnation breakfast shakes. They were really good.

Maybe healthy foods that are higher in fat? Bananas, um... peanut butter maybe? Can you switch to whole milk?

I like this idea. Also avocados are high in fat..:) If you like those I'd eat a lot of salads, wraps, stuff with avocados thrown in there. If you can stomach milk I would be drinking whole milk/high fat yogurt. Also nuts, beans, and eggs if you can't eat meat.

YES, avacados! I don't like them but I knew I wasn't thinking of all the good high fat foods out there lol

We have a little cafe type thing close to the house here and they make a PB&H sandwich on pita bread. SOOO good. Get pita bread, spread peanut butter in it, put slices of banana on the peanut butter, then drizzle some honey over the top of the bread. YUM!

Plus the nuts, peanut butter, and eggs will give you the protein that you're lacking by not eating meat too.

What about juice? 100% juice is pretty high in calories but also has some nutrition. The super dark juices, like grape, have antioxidants in them. You may not be hungry, but you have to drink :).

I drank a ton of grape juice right after I had both of my kids. I just have no appetite for about 2 weeks pp and I BF so to get my supply up I drink juice and it has worked like a charm both times.

Im down 6lbs, which is fine considering I hadn't ever lost the 18 frmo my sons pregnancy.

as long as your eating well, i wouldnt worry. but 20-25 weeks you'll be putting on the right weight.
