Well :)

We are in TN. made it with no problems other than a whiny 3 yr old who didn't even close her eyes on the way up. Got in around midnight tHursday. I was very tired from the long drive.

Movers got here Friday around 9:30. Everything was in the house by 4:30 Friday. Washer and dryer arrived saturday afternoon. By midnight Saturday we were completely unpacked. By 9 pm Sunday the laundry was mostly done, everything had a 'place' and we were doingbthe final cleaning. Tomorrow morning, s has to clean up her toy room, vacuum, quick mop of the hard floors, and we are off back to Alabama for a few weeks.

I am so tired but so thrilled thaT the house is ready for when we get back, since I'll be right at 38 weeks then. Owens room isn't decorated but his clothes are washed and put away and his furniture is put together and his pacis and my pump are sterilized.

I'll post picsntomorrow night if photo bucket will cooperate Smile

Thoughts/prayers for the drive home tomorrow. We are driving home in the tropical storm Sad

We are back in AL. The drive was MISERABLE. It rained SO hard from just south of Huntsville to nearly Montgomery. We pulled over 3 times between Huntsville and Birmingham (about a 1.5 hour drive on interstate). First time was because my feet were hurting and I needed to walk. Second time (about 5 exits further down) DD decided to stick her fingers so far down her throat that she puked all over herself and her car seat. Freaking glorious. Pulled over in the POURING rain and poor DH got soaking wet cleaning up DD and her car seat. Third time was about 5 more exits down the road, it was raining so hard that I could barely see DH driving his big ol' truck in front of me. Pulled over, refilled with gas, looked at the weather on the iPad and made the decision to keep on driving because the weather wasn't letting up and we had to get back tonight. So we get back out onto the highway and there were no kidding, 3 nasty wrecks within a 1 mile stretch on I-65S and an area in downtown Birmingham where 3 of the 4 south-bound lanes were under DEEP standing water. So we drive between 40 and 55 mph with our flashers on (with the majority of the rest of traffic), hoping that the idiots who are still driving 80 mph don't rear end us.

FINALLY got through that near Montgomery (which is about 3/4 of the way home) and by that time its was dark and the roads were wet. Oh it was horrid. But we're back at the apartment now. I'm so sad that we had to set up our house and leave it to come back to this crummy place Sad

I'm in Middle as well. I work in Brentwood but from Murfreesboro. We got rain rain rain all day today and expecting it till Wednesday!

IDK if this is your first time in TN but I hope you enjoy it...crazy hot summers, suffocating humiditiy, and miserable allergies included!

There are a lot of great hopsitals in Nashville though (if you plan on delivering here)

Yeah I'm from south Georgia/ south Alabama so I'm actually used to hotter heat and more humid humidity (if that's possible) lol Dh and I actually walked out on the back porch this morning and it was COLD!!! We've lived in Hawaii for the past 3 years so we are really looking forward to our first real fall/winter since 2007 Smile

Oh if there is one thing worse than TN humidity its GA humidity! YUCK. Jealous of you living in Hawaii! It might be a cold one this winter since it was so hot this summer. I think it was about 67 here today so it was a nice change for me. Bring on the cooler weather!

Doubtful lol I have NEVER seen snow before and when we moved from south AL to HI, I told my dad "You watch. It'll snow EVERY winter that I'm gone." And sure enough, it snowed in AL every one of the 3 winters that I was in HI. So I'm betting that since I'm back this year, wherever I live, there will be NO snow, since it seems to avoid me like the plague ROFL

Glad you got everything set up!! We came back from Tuscaloosa yesterday and that rain was yuck. We went early though and were home by 3 so I think we missed the worst of it. But in Montgomery we kept hitting huge puddles of water and it was freaking me out.
Isn't it nice out today!! I just want to go stand outside..haha.

Oh, and the snow thing is so funny! Fiona asks me all the time about the snow and I tell her it's supppppppper weird for it to have snowed so much here and it may not snow again.
