What are you proud of?

Sometimes we (please don't think I am speaking for everyone I know that I do) seem to get down on ourselves during pregnancy (worries, weight gain, and not being able to see your feet). So, I am curious what are you proud that you are still able to do while pregnant? We should celebrate ourselves! Smile

I will go first. I am super proud that I am 5 months pregnant and I am still playing softball 1-2 times a week on a coed team. It doesn't sound like much but the fact I can still play catcher (not my normal position but I will take it), hit the ball, (hitting for two is insane) and running the bases is a big deal to me. I am not sure how much longer I will be able to do it but, I am glad I have done it thus far.

Congrats on staying so active, Melissa! I was never any good at softball.

I love the idea of this thread. I'm not really sure what my answer is. I've been on restrictions for awhile now so I'm not very active this time. I can still shave my "hoo-hoo" and paint my toes. That's something right?? Biggrin

I am still proud of the fact that I can still move on the dancefloor!!! I am still able to teach an Intro to Salsa class after work on Mondays and am proud that I can still shake it with the best of them and still look good during my weekly salsa lessons that I take
Smile (though I am a little more careful when I have to do double turns)

I am still going to the gym 3 times a week. I have changed what I do and lowered levels but still going. I am also proud I haven't slapped anyone who has made a stupid or rude comment to my face lol

I'm proud that I continue to work hard and provide good customer service at work. My career is very important to me and I feel that I'm staying focused even though I want to go home and sleep. I think I'm doing a good job for no memory cells and very little patience!

What a great thread! I agree we all get so involved in what's happening or not happening with our bodies we forget to enjoy how wonderful it really is to be pg!

I'm proud that I can still keep my house spotless and cook everyday all while keeping up with my 2 crazy energy filled toddlers :). Silly I know... but as a SAHM that's about all I do lol.

Wow, I'm so impressed at what some of you can do!

I'm proud that I'm still able to work a full time job (teaching) and still come home and cook dinner and play with DD.

I did a pregnant belly dance class - that was fun! Robbie would settle down during class so I figured all the hip movement put him to sleep Biggrin

Aww, that's cute! I love belly dancing! The music is so relaxing. I never heard of a pregnant belly dancing class though- I should look into seeing if they have any of that by me- sounds like a lot of fun. The closest thing I do to that is the Zumba class I take every once in a while that has a couple belly dancing songs in it. Smile

I'm proud that I'm not just sitting around the house now that I stay at home. We also find many free things to do as well. The garden is in full swing, I created my first potted flower arangment yesterday and sewed a quick sun dress for abby today. (still need to hem it) As always, I have pics. Wink

I love it! Such a cute dress! I'm working on a Diane Von Furstenburg inspired wrap dress, but I swear sewing always takes me forever because I'm still new at it and I'm just so exhausted once I get home from work! Again, great job on that dress! You have just inspired me Biggrin
