Thread: What's your interpretation of this ultrasound?

Hey ladies!
So I had made up my mind I wanted the gender a surprise. DH is not on board with this idea and it is just leading to unnecessary arguments. A big part of me wants to know, especially after going into a few baby stores. So now I am dying to know. So, at the last appt. we most likely could have found out the gender but I was still being stubborn. I think I see some boy parts, but wanted to see if you guys thought so too, or not. This is our first baby to make it this far, so we really aren't positive if we see what we think we see. Thanks!!!

I'm don't think it's possible to interpret the sex at all with the u/s pics you gave. Usually you need to see between the legs from the bottom. From your one picture I don't know if I'm looking at a bent hand, umbilical cord or a little penis. My guess would be boy obviously since something is "sticking" out in that area, but the cord is sticking out there too. Go find out and get back to us!!

I am with Sally my scan pic of this little one has a sticky out bit there too but just too early and wrong position to really tell. Sorry.

Thanks guys! I was kinda wondering about the position. I remember during the scan there was a point when the baby had it's legs straight up in the air and "mooned" us. That was probably the best time to look, but oh well. I will just have to wait another 3 weeks, like everyone else

I think you cant tell sex from a profile this early, guess that is pretty much what everyone else said. Sorry

Yep what they said. You need a shot where LO's legs are apart and you're looking up toward the butt and between baby's legs.

I was sure I didn't want to find out my LO's gender too, but I caved too . It's just so hard to not know!

In past experiences you have to ask for the tech to look and they usually will not take any photos unless you want to know the gender.

Yeah I don't see the money shot either.
