Default When are you feeling your "bump"?

Just curious as I approach the phase where the uterus "starts to rise out of the pelvis", when others are finding they can feel their "bump". I know it's different depending on a woman's size and if she's had kids before. I keep feeling and feeling already and so far, just fat. I can't wait to feel the hard bump growing! It will make the pregnancy feel so much more REAL! And I'm so jealous of everyone who is showing already and feeling movement, even though I know it's cause it's not their first baby :P

I think with my 1st pregnancy I did not know where it was until I went to the doctor. I would say the baby is very low 3+ inches below my belly button. Hope that helps you find the baby.

Yeah I've felt all over but I just have too much abdominal fat and my uterus is not out of my pelvis yet. I'm only 11 weeks. I'm guessing another week or so before I can palpate anything.

Honestly....this is my 2nd pregnancy and I have never felt the actual "bump" like how the books say you can feel it when it rises out of your pelvic area. I've read that it feels like a softball, but I must have too much fat on top bc I don't feel anything! My stomach is hard, but I just don't know if what I'm feeling is my actual uterus or fat. LOL!

My stomach is as soft and squishy as usual. I feel the fullness down there but not when I try to feel with my hands.

I think once you feel it at your doctor's office, it'll be easier! I can feel mine, but this is my second pregnancy.

Yeah I have no idea either... I never could feel it with DD and I can't this time either. Sometimes I guess I can tell where it is when I try to lay on my stomach and it feels like there's a mass in my tummy, but as far as feeling it with my hand... nope, can't do it.
