Cramping, 14 weeks? Weird Spotting

Is anyone else cramping still? Or started cramping again?

Since last night I started cramping, all day today, it's not overly bad, maybe "pulling/stretching". Since this is a twin pregnancy, I'm wondering if it's just more noticeable when the wee ones have a growth spurt or something.

Plus last night I had some very strange spotting (and I mean very strange). It was orange, thick, like peanut butter (gross I know) but haven't spotted since. Went "googling" and read that it could be from my SCH but then freaked thinking mucus plug. Basically, I didn't sleep much last night... LOL (such a worry wart).

No more spotting now, just mild cramping. I don't want to call the doctors unless it's blood, know what I mean? I checked both babies on doppler, they're fine.

Do you think I should phone or just chalk it up to being pregnant?

P.S. In other news, my NT scan I had done on Monday is clear, no problems at all from bloodwork, so we got 2 healthy babies Smile

Yay for a great NT scan. Biggrin

I have some cramping and strange CM sometimes. It even looks like plug at times. However, I do believe that the plug can regenerate itself quite a lot during pregnancy. You should be just fine! I bet you're going to be feeling more cramping and pulling with two in there.

Thanks Smile I actually am doing better, had lunch, cramping going away. Whew! Smile

I'm so glad to hear that the mucus plug can regenerate. I'm hoping to make it to & beyond the 1st milestone of 26 weeks. Which is only 12 weeks away!! Smile

It sounds pretty normal, but I would call in if it starts up again...just to be sure. A friend of mine is pregnant with twins, and the doctors told her that it was ok to call if anything "strange" happens. That with carrying multiples, you cant ever be too cautious. Also, had you and your hubby been "enjoying each other's company" lately? That can cause the things you mentioned.

Ditto that. We DTD the other night, and yesterday I was quite crampy and my uterus just felt really tight and firm almost all day. It would get better when I lied down though, so I just tried to relax and today it is much better, its still a little crampy and it does tense up from time to time, but all in all not as worrisome as yesterday.

Been too blah to DTD, heck told DH to rain it check after birth, LOL. The specialist I saw on Monday has me coming back for extra scans and mentioned a slight chance of needing a cerclage but that's due to having a LEEP surgery 2 years ago. So I've been cautious about that too.

Been drinking a lot of water today, it's helping.

Haha poor DH but what can he expect especially with twins!

Hopefully if you keep hydrated that will help, Im not much of a help with advice but I sure hope the spotting disappears for good.

Good news, I puked up my entire dinner tonight, which means ...babies must be healthy. Smile Here I am thinking morning sickness was taking a break.

I've been having more cramping or pulling/stretching like you described this past week. It does freak you out. I also have been spitting forever now as well. It's mostly mucus mixed with tan old blood and I have had the mucus plug thought too. However it is normal to have increased cm when pg and my me knows about it and isn't concerned.

Ive had a lot of back cramps, mainly from when I'm standing up all day! And a lot of increased CM

Thats funny about the raincheck- I've DTD ummm twice since conception and Kev says he'll remember that when Im begging him to DTD to help get the baby out haha
