Thread: Felt baby tonight!

I was listening to the baby tonight on the Doppler with dh in bed and I'm pretty sure I felt the baby moving! I could hear her/him kicking the Doppler wand and then I felt fluttering at the same time! It was around this time when I felt stuff with my last dd.

Thats so awesome. Now I don't feel so crazy! I swear i've been feeling flutters and what I think is baby but I didn't feel anything with my DD till like 5-6 months if that, it was a crazy long time. So when I was feeling what felt like flutters to me I was like no its got to be something else noone feels baby this early. Maybe I'm not crazy and really was feeling baby!

Chaise, once you have your first baby, you feel it a whole lot earlier. I didn't feel DS1 until 5 or 6 months either.

Yeah with my first I was 16 wks when I felt flutters and farther than that before I felt a kick. With my 4th I had an anterior placenta and that muffled movement quite a bit I had an u/s at 23 wks b/c I hadn't felt any kicks yet just flutters and he was kicking away in there the tech was shocked that I couldn't feel the kicks.

That's so awesome! I can't wait. I've felt something like flutters but am doubting it's flutters. I will soon enough know ( or remember! ) the difference!
