I was an active member of PO while I was pregnant with my first October baby in 2002! I am now currently pregnant with my second child due 10/23/12. At the moment, I am in preterm labor, and the drs are doing are they can to get these contractions/dilation under control. Tessa's heart rate is perfect even during the most severe contractions, so that is an amazing sign. Its basically up to my body, and my strength to keep this little girl where she so desperately belongs. Any well wishes and prayers you could send our way would be greatly appreciated! I hope to become an active member of your board and post my birth story in Oct. like all the rest of you lovely ladies, and not a single day before!!! Nice to meet you!

So sorry to hear you are having complications with this pregnancy. You will def. be in my thoughts and prayers. Are you in the hospital or at home? How scary.
Can't wait to get to know you!
Welcome! I look forward to getting to know you. Praying your little girl stays put til October!

Thoughts and prayers coming your way. Its always so scary when stuff like this happens. I have had preterm labor with all 3 of my previous pregnancies, and my last 2 babies were born early. All you can do is take it one day at a time, pray, and try to keep yourself busy (as much as you can on bedrest...movies, reading, etc )
I am still in the hospital, and I have heard whispers they may keep me until 32weeks, but that was Sunday afternoon, when things were really out of control! Thanks so much for all the support and well wishes, ladies! Means more than you know!
Being in the hospital for that long stinks, but you can't be in a better place if LO decides to debut early. Wishing you the best!
