Morning sickness

Hi ladies, just wondering when it started for you or has it yet? I typically (as I remember) started around 6-7 weeks.

It was nausea that prompted me to take a pg test since we werent ttc. I normally get nausea right around the time I test positive so that is normal for me. It is really bad this time too. When I wasnt on any meds I couldnt eat at all or even drink much and then on zofran I didnt do much better as it didnt help hardly at all. Thankfully phenergen is helping some. I still cant eat much of anything with flavor. Potatoes, plain crackers, rice, bread, plain pasta, thats about it. Nothing sweet and no meat. And I still feel nauseous a lot of the time but with the phenergen and some unisom I can function.

I'm 6w3d and don't have m/s yet. I didn't have it with my first pregnancy (well, had it very minorly only when I got too hungry). I had it at 5w6d with my second pregnancy.

With my first daughter I had m/s from 5 weeks until 14-15 weeks. It was miserable. My 2nd daughter it was around 7 weeks to 10 weeks. This time around, I feel a little nauseas when I wake up or do I go to long without eating, but eating something usually helps.

With my son I had morning sickness from 7 to 11 weeks. It was terrible. I couldnt eat, sleep or move. I lost around 17 lbs. With this one I have thrown up just 1 time, and I think it was because I hadn't eaten in a while. I have some food aversions, a little nausea, but for the most part I have been pretty okay. The only thing that bugs me is when I drink water it turns my stomach / makes me nauseous. Oh and the headaches! I have them at least 5 days a week, and oh boy do they hurt!

I had M/S with DS almost right after I found out, I remember the next day barely making it through lunch after telling my BFF about the pregnancy...
This time, I was nauseated/no appetite the first week after finding out- then it backed off, now I'm 6 weeks and feel slight nausea if I dont eat, nothing bad yet

With my first two I was so sick but somehow this time I'm managing. Combo of Unisom, Phengram, and Mommy's Bliss Morning Sickness pills. I'm grateful I'm not so sick because with my last pregnancy I was sick from 6 - 16 weeks and even throughout the pregnancy I had bouts of nausea and food aversions, it was rough.

I had nausea pretty consistently after I found out but it went away for a few days...until this morning when I spent all morning throwing up orange juice at work Sad Hopefully it was just the OJ that didn't agree with me and not full fledged everyday M/S.

With my DD I had some nausea and some M/S but it wasn't everyday or all day. I think I threw up maybe 5-6 time total with her. Some of friends when they were pregnant couldn't even brush their teeth without getting sick so in compassion i'm pretty lucky and won't complain to much Smile

With DS1 and this one it started at 5 weeks, with DS2 it didn't kick in until 7 weeks. And I get all day, every day nausea, I've never actually thrown up.

Thanks for the responses ladies! Yea, with both of my kids, I threw up once but was nauseated from like 5/6 weeks until 10 weeks or so. I think I'm still early. Nothing yet. Not even nauseous. Well once, a couple days ago. I have a feeling I'm jinxing myself here! LOL!

I think I jinxed myself. I'm majorly nauseated tonight, but maybe it's because I'm so nervous about my ultrasound?

Annie- Ditto.
Officially kicked in yesterday at 6 weeks on the dot.
Amber- I get all day nausea too- but dont throw up.. which I think is worse then throwing up.. because I would FEEL BETTER if I could just throw up... I remember with DS just dry heaving over the toilet eyes watering and sweating and gagging and sick to my stomach bcuz I couldnt just throw up.
The second trimester I finally threw up- haha and felt much better.

I've gottenmore stomach bugs in the last year than ever in my life and I've discovered how to make myself puke if need be. It involves a lot of deep breathing over the toilet. It's way better than just being nauseated. Lol Sorry if I just made anyone heave!

I'm feeling okay this morning. Maybe I'll be one of those weird people with night sickness?

I can't help but hope this one is a boy since the pregnancy is presenting differently....but both of my other two were different from each other too.

Haha I think I jinxed myself also. I puked my guts out twice yesterday while at work Sad plus I have had a cough and stuffy nose for the past 2 weeks. Wondering when it will go away....

.

I need to learn that trick. My most hated thing is being sick to my stomach and dry heaving for hours w/o being able to heave.. haha.
