Thread: Names

Where is everyone as far as naming their newest addition? Care to share and throw around some favorites?

One of my Twins will be Callie Elizabeth the other one is nameless..... a few names we kinda like are Madeline and Charlotte but we are still undecided!

I dont think I'll know til delivery day!
Mara is the only name we both KIND of like- Kevin likes more then me, but I feel like if were both "settling" we might as well settle on a name at least one of us loves.
I really like Blair, and he said OK to that (probably after hearing all of my other 'horrible' names Blair didnt sound so bad)
and I have a bunch of others I really like, Paisley and Sawyer and Reese and on and on... but he hates all... haha..

I feel like I'll narrow it down to a few, then when I see her hopefully I'll just know!!

Sarah- I really like Charlotte- I love when twins have the same first letter.. Callie and Charlotte.. Callie and Charlie.. hehe

I think Callie and Maddy is pretty cute too Charlotte has become pretty popular lately which is the only reason I wouldn't personaly chose it. But it's a beautiful name.

Cait- I love Sawyer!! So cute! If this baby had been a girl I had Alayna Snow picked for her. I also had Clara, Mathilda, and Violet on the list. Oh well!! Boys names are so much harder :-\

Also, I have to say by faaaar my favorite name site is nameberry.com.... LOVE how they have lists of certain types of names instead of just millions of names on one list!

At the top of our list right now:

Girl- Blakely, Piper, Amaris, Carys
Boy- Sawyer, Reed, Rhett

We probably won't know for sure til baby is born and we see him/her.

Our boy's name is set... It has been since Cecelia was born in '07. If its a boy he will be Chester Ross (Chester was my DH's granddad, who he was especially close to and Ross is my DH and FIL's middle names). When we first started talking about using Chester, we got a lot of grief, but now it's kind of grown on everyone.

As for a girl's name... Nothing. I've already used the ones I really love, so I have more searching to do.

Rachel~ I'd never seen the Nameberry site. That is a good one! I've always gone to Baby Name Wizard, which is somewhat similar, but there is a free section and a subscriber section. If we still don't have a girls name in 10ish weeks, I'll probably do the subscription.

I'm liking your ideas! I love the name Charlotte, of course. We've yet to meet another one so maybe it's more popular in some areas?

If it's a boy, it'll be Simon Henry (picked out about 6 years ago).
If it's a girl, it'll be Stella Marie....unless we change our minds!

Wow, I don't check in over here often enough. Looks like Sawyer is catching on! I am also a huge nameberry fan! For us if its a boy it will be either Sawyer or Emerson, and if it's a girl... we've got nothing we can agree on. I'm really loving hippy girl names like Winter, and Ocea... but I'm pretty sure those names aren't going to fly!

We're undecided on a name. We have one in mind but nothing definite. We decided that we're keeping that part a surprise though...if we ever agree on one. LOL!
