Pregnancy Journals?

Does anyone have/write in a pregnancy journal?

I had one with DS and kept up with it pretty well- so I wanted a really great one this time and was so dedicated the first few weeks, but have been slacking a lot lately!!!

I really need to remember to start writing it in because I know it'll be great to look back on- it's amazing when I read Brodys and realize how much I had forgotten.. and it's kind of nice to compare!

I really WISH I would have written my weight in it- Im sure I was in denial/disapointed about my weight gain so I probably didnt want to write it but it'd be nice to compare and see if I'm on the same track or not!!!

Also last night I read through Brodys and saw our name list for girls was very similar- Kevins "ideas" are the same two as two on his list from last time and I thought that was kind of funny because he seemed to make them up himself all over again haha!

is anyone keeping up well?
What things do you most like keeping track of?

I am keeping one....The Belly Book. I did the same one with DS and like you, recently looked back through it and couldn't get over how much was in there that I did not remember at all.

I didn't record my weight either just bc I didn't want to remember. LOL! I record things like cravings, how I'm feeling, anything 'significant' that's happened, baby's heart beat number at appointments...stuff like that. It has a place for photos too. I still have to go back through and stick pics in DS book and the same for this one...I have the pics I just haven't put them in there for some reason.

I kept one with both DD and write in one everyday with this one. I will put my pictures in the back after I have the twins. I love reading back through!

Im not. I guess it never occurred to me to start one. I have a little calendar that i've been jotting things down on and i put her heartbeat on the check out sheets from the dr's office. I never kept one with DD but I did write a very detailed birth story and kept track of some stuff in her baby book.

I've been keeping up pretty well. I have a weekly calendar book. It's intended more as a planner, but I just jot something down here and there. I write down events, cravings, exercise, weight, etc. Since it's so basic, it's a lot easier for me to keep up with. Plus, I keep it right by my kitchen computer so it's easy to reach.

I wish I would have done something this basic with my girls because I think it's more fun to look back on. My little boy probably won't be nearly as interested in this book as the girls would have been. Oh well. I find myself editting a bit...like not writing down if I'm constipated or whatever because I don't want him to look back at it and be all horrified. Lol

Not really, I just try to keep my space up to date and then once I have the baby I copy it into a general journal on here. I have both the boys' spaces and birth stories saved on my journal. My space with Mason was not very detailed so I tried to be a little more thorough with Isaac and this baby.

I have the belly book too. I just havent put the pictures in.
I feel like now that I know its a girl I should be more detailed and write more of my thoughts down, maybe because a girl would care more about having it then brody will probably care when he gets older.
But I like seeing my emotions, my old journal asked more about "Mood" and stuff- and I always wrote "probably not the best" haha. I also had a little planner with Brody- intended for work/school but I wrote stuff in it and it was kinda fun to read when I found it.

I really wish they had an online journal, that after your pregnancy you could just order it in printed edition. Be so much easier to upload pictures and fill out things if they were online. hehe.

I've always used the online versions, BabiesOnline, because of family living far apart. That way I can share the journal & photos with them. After birth, I print it out and store it away. Just never had the time for an actual book type.

You could just do a blog like on blogger or something....then those can be printed into a book. We've kept a blog from DS point of view since he was born. Each year we get a book printed (we end each year with his bday party). It's so fun to go back and read through. I just got his 4th book!

I blog on blogger and print the books from either blog2print or cutest blog on the block. I've ordered from both....

I have Smile I kept one with all the boys. I have the What To Expect Pregnancy journal. I love being able to go back and read what I was feeling and such at certain points with each of the boys and compare. You think you'll remember everything but unfortunately you don't. The journals even have a place for labor and delivery info. DH was super detailed with DS1 &2. He even wrote the times of my contractions and whenever they upped my pitocin and to what. I am SO glad I kept them!

I also blog on blogger and have always wondered if I could print. How much is it and is it hard to do? Does it print your pictures and everything? So cool!

It's very easy to do. Yes, it prints pictures and everything. Cost depends on how many pages your book is. Ours is usually around $50-60 for a 120+ page book (if I'm remembering correctly)
