If money were no obstacle, babies fell from the sky, and everything was perfect, how big would you want your family to be? Do you come from a big family? Only child?

For me, I think 3 children is my absolute limit. And some days, even THAT number scares me. Lol! My DH felt like an only child (10 year age gap between him and his bro) and therefor longs to have a big family.
What about you?

I thought I was done at 3. I even had my tubes tied. Then my ex-DH and I split, and I have since remarried. My new (well not so new) DH and I really want an "us" baby. It is weird how life works out...

I'm one of 5 and grew up thinking I wanted a big family. I'd say 4 would be my number in this fantasy world, but in reality, 2's the limit.

I'd probably go as high as 5! My bro and I were 5 years appart and that was it. I always wanted a bigger family with kids closer together. DH is one of 3 and they were all born in 5 years.
In reality he's content with the one we have (and she's not his biologically) and is saying we're done after the next one but I think we'll end up having a number 3 if we can ever get pg :/ since DD is already 8 and I'd like a few closer together!

I would love to have 4-6 kids if money was no issue. My hubby is actually pushing for 4 but I think realistically 2 would be wonderful for us. Biggrin

Well, obviously, I want a big family Smile Funny because DH and I started out planning on having 3. Then when I was pregnant with DS2, I got very emotional thinking about only having one more so I informed him we were going to have 4 Wink Then when I was pregnant with #4, I told DH I wanted 5. Thought we may be done but then I started thinking that I'd like one more. took a little convincing this time but DH started to soften to the idea and then agreed that he'd like one more too. Six will be it for us and I think that I'm good with that. Even if money were no object, I think 6 is good for us. I love being pregnant and love having a big family (I'm one of 2 and I used to beg my mom to have more!). I think after the next one, I'll be ready to move into the next phase of our lives.

Is twelve a bad answer? h ahaha.. Just kidding probably 6!! 3 of each!
I've always dreamed of a HUGEEE family.
Kevin thinks 6 is ridiculous and barely agreed to two... I'm still planning on sneaking in at least one more after that.. hehe
I have such a small family, and kevins family is kind of...spread out.. I dream of the big christmases with all of the kids.. and then all of their kids all gathered around.. Feels so lonely with just me, kevin, brody and the dog on holidays..
Maybe we should start buying the lotto more! If you ever see me win the lotto I'll share with everyone! hehe

*looking at your family picture* Looks like it'd be a nice gathering around that tree to me!! So jealous of your big family!!! I picture myself with all boys as well.. I'd love to just have boys and then one girl at the very end! little pink princess room all to herself! hehe

My boys want a sister so bad! If we did end up with a girl, she be so spoiled by all her big brothers! And poor thing would NEVER have a date! LOL
I was just telling DH at Christmas how fun it will be when the boys have kids and they all come over at the holidays. I want to be one of those grandmas that has all the grandkids over every week for sleepovers Smile

Belinda - I have 4 older brothers. They are between 10-6 years older than me. You could definitley say I was spoiled and overprotected to a degree :O)
I had believed I was destined to raise boys, but the gods saw a different path for me when I got my DD. I'm so lucky to have her in my life, but I sometimes get sad that she won't have an older brother :O( Hopefully I can provide with a little on soon though :O)

I now have FIVE nieces (ages 14-5) and 1 (age 3) nephew on my side of the family (talk about estrogen overload!). Christmas is chaos when we are all at my parents house. But yes, it is FUN :O)
