I just have a quick question for you ladies if you don't mind. I'm 4DPO today after my first cycle of Femara and am having AF-like cramps. On my mid-cycle ultrasound, the doc said my lining was perfect and that it looked like I would O from both ovaries. So the chances are good unless my tube are blocked which hasn't been assessed yet. So I guess what I'm wondering is if at 4DPO I could be having implantation cramps. They're not too bad or intense. More like dull cramping with occasional sharp pains but the sharp pains aren't that bad either. Feels like AF is coming really. I've had them off and on all day. Have any of you had implantation cramps and if so what were they like and when did you have them? Is 4DPO too early for implantation cramping? Thanks!
I would never say anything would be TOO early- I had a really bad headache and was really mucusy in my throat and stuff which was odd @ 4 DPO but didnt feel sick at all and at 5DPO had this weird "SNIFFY" thing as I call it- where my nose feels like its on fire like I just inhailed a ton of dust and my nose is burning- that I'd only ever felt when I got pregnant before, just random stop me dead nose burn (its odd) and was like well its wayyy too early to be preg-related, but turned out I got a BFP so I think it was more then a coincidence.
However, I think it takes 7-10 days to implant?? but IDK
being that it's your first cycle of something new- if in doubt I always blame the new drug/medicine/something- because I hate being overly optimistic about myself and getting my hopes up.
Im no help!!!
the internet says implantation can take place anywhere from 6-12dpo, but obviously this varies because I've seen women who have gotten bfps at 8dpo and it takes a few days after implantation for enough hcg to build up to get a positive test, so who knows, its definitely possible for it to happen at 4dpo. I've got my fingers crossed for you Leah, KUP!
I'm pretty sure I had implantation cramping at 5 & 6 DPO. It was CD 17-18 of a typical 24/25 day cycle so at the time I thought it was early for AF. I don't know if it actually was implantation bleeding, but it def wasn't AF
