So I got my light BFP yesterday afternoon. After taking one this morning with FMU, it's still pretty light. :-/ Makes me a little worried. I've def been having symptoms of crampiness and tenderness in my lower belly since yesterday and the night before that. When do tests start turning 'blazing'? After a missed period? It makes me so worried b/c I see some really dark BFPs out there at the same time frame as mine. *fingers crossed*!!!!!

I wouldn't worry, some tests never really get blazing dark lines. A line is a line so I'd say you are good just don't take the digi for a bit (maybe a week?) they don't seem to be as sensitive I've noticed a few people on the DYSAL board seem to have gotten a neg digi and many pos FRER's. Weird cause you'd think the 'advanced technology' would be more sensitive...
My only experience with a BFP:
11dpo: BFN with FMU; very faint + around 5 p.m. on an IC; my DH and I ate dinner and went to buy a FRER and digital with the intent of using FMU 12dpo; got a faint + on a FRER about 5 min after we got home; used the digital and got a +
12dop-15dpo: ICs and FRERs remained very light; I was freaking because I always seem nice progressions posted; beta at 14dpo was 82 (tests still light); beta at 16dpo was 275 (tests started to get darker, but still not blazing)
There seems to be a lot of variation in the intensity of tests for different women even when blood tests are positive (and hcg levels are increasing). Just my anecdotal evidence. Will your dr. do a blood test for you?
Thanks ladies. The beginning has never had me so worried before. I tested with Answer brand today and the line with that was terribly faint. Not even visible in a pic. So I guess, no more testing for me! Just keep hoping for the best. :/
