Thread: Sick with cold & fever ...fever worries me

I'm sick, again, two weeks ago I had a sinus infection with fever and was on antibiotics. I'm sick again but this time sore throat & a cold. Temp is at 99.1-99.3, just took more Tylenol. I know 2nd trimester a fever isn't quite as bad but it's still worrying. I don't think calling the Obgyn will do much, I probably will head over the regular clinic once DH is home from work to watch he kids, who so happen to be sick too.

Anyone else get sick this pregnancy? They say allergies are their worse this Spring and we've had lots of weather changes lately (cold one day, hot the next).

Sorry you're sick! I had a pretty nasty flu in the middle of April. My temp got up to 100.7, but I was able to keep it down with Tylenol. The info. packet from my dr. said to call if it went above 101. I hope you feel better soon!

thanks Glad to know it's 101 to call. I put the AC on because today it's hitting 80, odd weather indeed.

Update here: I have another sinus infection and got antibiotics. I read that sinus infections are common being pregnant and it's also been a bad allergy season. Yay for the weekend so I can get good naps in.

So i'm a little late in responding sorry... but I have had a sinus infection pregnant. Just a few weeks ago I was worried I was getting another but it was just bad allergies. My dr had me take zyrtec.

are you starting to feel better? I normally don't have allergies but have noticed my allergies/sinus's have been bugging me alot lately. Hope you are feeling better and stay feeling better!!!

I'm feeling a bit better, I think this is a combo cold & allergies. Tree pollen is still high here and our weather is now rain, clouds, changeable from 50 to 70, it all should calm down soon and get back to normal. Even my husband's had trouble with allergies and he doesn't even have allergies, his first year getting sick that is.

Basically... I can't wait for summer
