Slow Today

What's everyone up to? Any special Easter plans for Sunday?

Between the move and everything else, we don't have anything planned. I feel super guilty about it. May be we'll postpone our celebration for a couple weeks... *sigh*

I've had some trouble getting into prg.org today. Everytime i've tried to pull it up it goes super slow and stops loading....so annoying.

I start vacation at 5pm tomorrow. No work for 7 whole days! Saturday morning DD and I are heading to my parents house till Thursday. Easter we will dye eggs, have a little egg hunt and grill out. My parents bought a huge playset so i'm sure DD will be having a ton of fun playing/sliding/coloring oh and be super spoiled while we are there. Oh and we get to see my niece and sister. Thats the reason I took time off was to go see her new baby and spend time with them. While we are gone DH and FIL will be replacing a window in the kitchen and doing demo to the rest of the kitchen. Hopefully by the time I get back DH will have the window replaced and the walls painted so we can start putting in the cabinets and flooring.

DH says he wants to replace the window while we are gone so DD doesn't try to get in the kitchen but really i'm pretty positive its because he doesn't want me to try to micro manage and ask a zillion questions Smile

Overall it should be a good vacation, even though it won't really feel like a vacation.

I feel like superwoman today though! I'm not sure if it was just me having enough energy to get things done or the fact that i've put it off till the last day possible and I know I have to get things done before I leave lol I actually got all the laundry done and folded, dishes done, floors swept, my big girl in bed and all the toys picked up. Pretty sure I haven't done that much in one afternoon since before I got pregnant lol

We are really lazy when it comes to holidays, so we aren't doing anything special for easter at all. DH has a 4-day weekend so we're just hanging out at home this weekend and visiting my Mom tomorrow, thats about it.

Well, I got the day off for once so thats a celebration!! (I normally work weekends)
Brody and Kevin are going to an easter egg party thing tomorrow so he'll "hunt" then- im so sad to miss it!!
Then Sunday..maybe breakfast, some hunting around our house or something, maybe see some family... who knows...doesnt look like our family has planned much..i had PLANNED to tell everyone about the baby but who knows..
I guess I also get my neice that day...
Kevin wants to go fishing because its gonna be such nice weather, so we'll probably go with, maybe I'll bring eggs and let brody find them on the beach hehe...

I've had a busy busy week at work. My co-worker decided to be out sick all week. This pisses my off bc-even though she is 16 wks preggo-I don't believe she is THAT sick! But I try to stay positive and say I'm better off with our her in anyway. She has been incredible moody and b!tchy the ENTIRE pregnancy and I really could do with out it. Sometimes it can be contagious and then I go home in a bad mood.
So I'll be very happy come the end of today and to start the weekend. We're planning on going to my parents for Easter. It's going to be an unusualy small family gathering since 1/2 my siblings will not be attending. There might be one other child there besides my DD and THAT's just weird. Usually my parents house is covered in kids!
Best part about this weekend.....I took off on Monday! I have my NT Scan so I'm really looking forward to another day of sleeping in and then getting to see the baby and possibly finding out the gender Biggrin

Excited to hear about your NT scan! I've never had one before! Jealous!

One of us will be spending the day with Isaiah in the hospital, and the other one will be celebrating with the other 4 kids. I have a friend who was sweet enough to make four Easter baskets for the 4 kids at home. (Isaiah can't eat anything and can't really color or play with toys, so there's not much we can do for him other than just spending time with him.)

I've been meaning to ask how Isaiah's doing. Has there been any improvement?

Yes. Thanks for asking. He is running a Baclofen trial right now. It's a medication that goes directly into the spinal fluid, and it really seems to be helping. We will probably be able to have the pump implanted in about a week, then go home (or maybe to inpatient rehab to re-learn how to walk).
