We've been trying so long that I'd be happy having our baby born any day of any month

And I do like the positives of people catering to you around the holliday if preggers. Another positive if I would give birth around the holiday is my job. I'm a teacher and, like most people, have to use sick days for maternity leave but around the holidays we get a good amount of time off so that would equal less sick days I have to use. So yay for a holiday baby!!!

DD's birthday is December 31st, I make special effort to give her a great birthday regardless of the time of year. Our tree comes down before her b'day and we always do a big family party and a kid party (so far kid parties haven't gone so well but that's because of DD's ADHD and related problems). I don't care when my due date would be, I just want to get pg!! I'm not getting any younger and I've got fertility issues working against me. If I O - we're going for it!

I used to think I'd prefer not to have a baby due in Dec but that changed after my first 2 losses. I just wanted a baby so badly, I didn't care what day they were born. I would have been due in the spring or summer with the losses but ended up with a Nov 1st baby. If I got pregnant this time I'd be due Oct 30 or 31st Our intentions this time around were just to try and spread the birthdays out since we have a Jan and 2 Feb b-days (all within 3 1/2 weeks). So much for that! I'll take whatever I can get. I actually liked being due in Jan and Feb. Like PP said, it did get me lots of sympathy and help at the holidays Oh and I was thinking that since DH always takes a few weeks off when the baby is born, it would be kind of nice to be due near a holiday so he'd be guaranteed to be off for the holiday (he works shift work and works a lot of holidays).

I plan on putting it on pause after February. I already have a winter baby and would like to wait for a Spring baby if I don't get an Oct or Nov baby.
But if I had been trying for a while, I probably wouldn't care.

My birthday is Dec 24 and I think people go more out of their way to remember my birthday than others. The worst part was when I was a kid I could never have birthday parties because everyone was on holiday.
But I personally like the idea of a winter baby. I'm more worried about being very pregnant during the whole summer.

My baby was born on Friday the 13th and the best blessing EVAR. I consider Friday the 13th a very lucky day.

To answer this question, I'm on my way to 41 and have apparently reproductive issues, so I don't care when I have my baby as long as I can have one!

Hahaha... UMMMM indeed I think you guys might be!!!
On one hand- if it's not meant to be it wont happen (so I believe) so it's kind of like "Why stop trying"
Buttttt at the same time, thats the one time I never wanted a baby... so I really want to take a break and maybe not even OPK or do anything or try to think about it..... but I'm such an addict now IDK if I can break myself.. or not try.. haha....

Would be nice to have a baby before Jan- more tax return!! (Am I the only one who thinks this way?? Im evil.. its true...)

But I do read a lot of things that say your most fertile right after a M/C .. so I dont want to burn my fertile time right?!

    Annnnnnnnnnnnd SOPHIA- I miss you.

Awww thanks Cait, I missed you and everyone else here....it's been a difficult couple of months. Still feeling a little rough emotionally but it's getting better. I don't want to hijack the thread here, so if you want all the gory details, just see my post on the TTC: 2+ years board.
