    Default We've got names!

Dh and I have agreed on names! I just had to keep bugging dh or he wouldn't have ever taken time to think about it.

Girl: Alexa Josephine her nn will be Lexi. Her mn is a family name we always do family nn. Josephine was my maternal grandma. I was a bit leery of Alec (ds2) and Alexa sounding too alike but dh really liked it when I told him I liked it so we decided to go with it.. We will call her Lexi most of the time I bet anyway.

Boy: Ryne James. Ryne rhymes with mine. Like Ryne Samberg the baseball player. Dh has liked this name for years and it finally grew on me. James was my pat. Great gpa and is my great uncle and uncle's names.

Anyone else have names yet or possibilities?

OOOH I like both of those names...... WE haven't decided at all dh wants to wait until we know the gender for sure incase we need 2 girl names or 2 boy names...... Plus if they are boys I gotta wait and see what my SiL is naming her twin boys. Girls name I still really like the name Callie so that may be up in the running if one is a girl!

Somewhat...2 names is throwing us for a loop! FYI we like names uncommon names.

Boy/Girl I think we're do Easton Mathew and Avery Harper
Boy/Boy were thinking Easton Mathew and Landon Carter

Girl/Girl is where we're having trouble. I really like Avery and Kennedy but I want to spell them similar. So I really like the spelling Averie and Kenadie but NO ONE likes the spelling!

Sarah your SIL is having twins too?!? That's awesome! You'll have lots of twin advice for when yours are here .

I don't envy either one of you having to come up with two names or more correctly 3-2 name combos!

I like the name Callie a lot it's very sweet!

I really like Easton it's different but not too different. And Avery and Kennedy are darling girl's names! No matter how you spell them they are still the same names so I don't understand why pp have a prob w/ your spelling?

    ^How about Avari and Kenadi?

We picked the girl's name Norah Haven 12 years ago before Caleb was born. We had Zoe Anastasia picked out for the last one. I kind of like Norah Anastasia. Not sure yet. For a boy, I don't know. Perhaps Zachary?

Those are great names. I like all of them.

My kids have been named with a theme, so my list for this child is pretty short.
I'm really having a hard time with a girls name. I like the name Ruby, but it seems to be getting pretty popular. Believe it or not I have ran into another little girl with my older DD's name, Opal. I was shocked, the other girls mom looked a little perturbed, lol.

I'm loving your ideas so far!

I'm a fun hater I guess and don't like it when names are spelled "wrong" (if it's a name that has a very traditional spelling that is).

We're planning on Simon for a boy and either Anita or Annette for a girl, middle names still to be fought over.

I got pissed when I met another Mina one time. She was younger than mine and born at the same hospital. I was like COPYCAT!!! :P

Crystal I noticed your kids' names in the check-in thread very cool! I love that they are all themed even you and dh! I haven't ran into a Ruby or an Opal they aren't common here. Jade is a great one too that fits but i have heard it a few times over the years.

We like traditional-ish names. For a boy, we have William Paul. For a girl, no idea and DH won't discuss it until we know the gender.

Andrea, one of my client's daughters is named Mina. Mom is from Germany and wanted a name that was easily pronounced in German and in English.

How about Jade, Sapphire or Topaz?

ETA: Ivory is a name you don't hear much anymore.
