This is my first month charting. It's not much to look at tho bc I don't take BBTs, due to my schedule :( So I'm just charting cervical changes, CM, and OPK results. I'm kinda obsessed with the fertility friend app now! It's ridiculous.
Jessica - sorry about CD1, but maybe it's a relief. I hope this cycle goes well for you.
Jordan - Good luck! I'll be stalking.
My chart is in my siggy, as always.
Ahh, thanks. I'm just glad AF is here so I can start fresh, but happy it wasn't until the end of the weekend since we were at BIL's wedding. Sorry about the new cycle for you too :(
I ended up overriding O date in FF for the last cycle. Since AF synced up with when I *thought* I ovulated, I figured it was pretty safe to do that. I'm ditching the evening primrose oil this month, I felt so off last month. It could have been a coincidence, but I felt like crap for most of it. So, back to normal I hope.
Here's mine. My Ovulation Chart

Jessica, sorry last month wasn't your month :( What is evening primrose oil supposed to do when ttc / pregnant? I was taking it regularly before ttc as it is good for dry skin. I stopped when we started trying though as I didn't know if it was 'safe'.
Evening primrose oil is supposed to promote fertile CM. I rarely get EWCM, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I did get the tiniest bit one day, but it was after I stopped taking it so I don't know if it actually helped or not. It is safe to take while TTC, but you're only supposed to take it from when AF ends to ovulation, or until you're reasonably sure that you ovulated.
It can cause uterine cramping/contractions, so I have also heard of women breaking the capsules and inserting the gel vaginally in hopes of inducing labor.
Jessica, have you tried green tea or guaifenesin (Mucinex)? Those are both supposed to help increase EWCM.
Another thing you might look into, Jessica, is FertileCM. I have never tried it, but I have heard amazing things from friends who have. Like not only does it increase CM, but it also enhances sex drive, etc. FertileCM Cervical Mucus Enhancer - Make A Baby
I used EPO orally and vaginally for both of my end-of-pregnancies. I think it really helped. In a family where NO woman has ever gone before her EDD, I had my babies at 39 weeks. It was nice. haha. I can't say it was the EPO entirely, but I do think it was a contributer.
I haven't tried green tea, I honestly don't know if I could, I really can't stand the taste! I might give Mucinex a shot though. There's also one variety of Robitussin that works too, right?
LOL, FertileCM.. The writeup suggests that it can increase the female sex drive, and I definitely don't have issues there! I'd probably have to cut back my hours at work! With that said, all of the other benefits sound great and would probably be worth it for me in the long run. Thanks for the tips ladies!
