Thread: third beta and u/s tomorrow!

I did one more beta yesterday afternoon. It was 13184 at 5w5d. Not bad at all. In case you're wondering, it's more than double the singleton average on betabase and even above the twin average. I'm pretty sure we just have one, though. I guess we'll find out tomorrow. My u/s is in exactly 24 hours.

are they doing an u/s at your appointment, too, Susan? Or will they schedule one later?

I would like them to do one. I'm not sure if they will or schedule one, or what will happen yet. I didn't like my fertility specialist at all. So I'm trying a new dr.
I'm kind of tied in knots! What if I go and it's all in my head and I've never been pregnant?? (of course, that's totally rational, since I've had two betas, a ton of symptoms and upteen pee sticks confirming!)

We went to my appt today, and it was honestly not much. She moved my due date back a few days, but I think it will change right back when the date the baby with the ultrasound. That is next Friday at 9! Very excited for that one!
Did some very normal blood work, got my weight, heigh, bp, blah blah blah. Answered some questions. And that's about it!

How did things go with the u/s?

nope, not twins. although there was a moment where I thought it was. I have a bruise which looked like a second sac to me. But the u/s tech was sure it wasn't.
so, one tiny blob measuring 5w6d (6w0d by O date) with a HB of 116bpm. perfect.
