    Default 20 week appt today.

Had my 20 week appt today with the level II u/s and the baby would not cooperate and show us the goods! Baby was sitting with its feet down. We tried a few things to move baby and when it finally switched a bit for us to get a peek, the umbilical cord was right between its legs, so we couldn't see a THING! The tech wasn't sure enough to even wager a guess. DH got to be there for the u/s and we brought in all three kids as well. They seemed to really enjoy seeing the baby, even the 20 month old. Met with one of the midwives afterwards and she said baby looked great/healthy... my placenta is low-lying though, so she wants to do an u/s at 28 wks to check for that. I've gained 3 lbs. so far... much less than with any of my other pregnancies. M/W said we could try and do a quick scan at my next appt if I really want to see what baby is. Other than that, a boring, easy appt.

AAAAAAAA!!! Seriously, I might have to go out and pay for a 3D the same day if that happens to me...LOL! Yay for a healthy baby, though!

    Hahaha @Leigh!!

I'm glad everything looked good, and how nice that all the kids could be there too. Lovely moment.
