36w is pretty soon for you!
I usua;;y don't bother to be ready until 38w, but might aim for 36w this time since there's a higher chance LO will be early.

I'm honestly thinking of 38 weeks (10/1ish for me) as my start getting ready date, which is why I'm still feeling relatively laid back about everything at this point. I have 10/21 in my head as my "expected" date for some reason, even though that's 40+6! A good mental place to be in, I guess...I'm aiming to have all my important work at work done by 10/1 so I can just do bonus work-ahead stuff after that and be free to leave whenever I need to, but I full expect to have a solid 2-3 weeks in October to get my act together. Hope this baby doesn't decide to give me any surprises!
(Not that I'm even REMOTELY suspecting she will...she's still not head down or even seeming to prefer any one position yet.)
I LOVE the 40+6 thinking!
I think being home alone this time is making me think a lot more about the what-if's. Not having anyone here when I think things are happening has made me try and get things organised a bit earlier. I have friends on call, but they don't know where everything is. KWIM??

Baby #3 due Oct 1st!!
Totally! That would make a difference in my thinking too. As it is, I'm feeling like even if she suddenly came tomorrow we're in good shape to just deal with it...we have enough organized and on hand that it would only require minor scrambling.
How do you set up the pool noodles?
