    Default BH question.

Is it normal to have one for about 5 minutes, or longer?
I'm just sitting here on the couch with the laptop and I could feel it start, but it hasn't stopped. Not sore at all, just my uterus is rock hard and out to one side. Maybe the baby is laying funny?

Hummm.... I'm not sure. I'd just watch for more if I were you. I don't remember, even though I had a ton last time around.

It's gone now, but it was a really strong one. Probably the strongest I've felt ever. I will definitely be watching for more

I didn't even know you can have those this early :/ I'm still having trouble just finding my uterus at all, i seem to remember being told it's retroverted, but sometimes it's an obvious knot down there, other times nothing. I don't feel anything different internally when it's hard vs not. Hrm. That's probably not helpful at all. KUP!

Hm. No, I haven't experienced any early BH (and I can't find my uterus either!) Hope it's nothing...

Did you have any more last night or just that one?

I'm not sure I've ever had one last that long, but I get BH all the time. They usually start around 12 weeks for me and sometimes I go through phases where I get them every few minutes. Honestly, just touching my lower belly can set them off sometimes. I just ignore them at this point because they're so normal for me. But if it's worrying you, you might as well ask your doctor.

I had them on and off for the rest of the day. Totally stopped the nest day. That fisrt big one was huge though. Anywho, they've stopped now, thank goodness. I've been getting them since about 12 weeks too and they are set of sometimes but the littlest of things, but especially anything tight.

rest, hydration, and having an empty bladder all help, in case it happens again (which it probably will).

Hmm yeah kinda weird, but I guess you're okay now! I get them all the time too, and I have had some that feel like they last a couple minutes. It's super normal for me too though, all my pregnancies have been this way.
