    Default Does anyone else....

I have a little box of adorable things I just couldn't help getting or making myself (I'm a crochet nut).

I am totally realistic with myself that someday these things might have to go to someone else's baby if it never happens for us. Actually, I've given a couple away already when my best friend had her baby last year.

But I just love having that bit of hope and dreaming, it makes me happy and I really need that sometimes.

Does anyone else have things or a little box waiting?

    You are not alone!

I have tons of stuff from my sons that I can't part with yet, just in case.

I also have 1 bin full of girly things that I started collecting when we first started TTC our second child. Then we lost our DD, and I can't bring myself to pass on those things yet either.

I am in a place where I know if w get lucky this will be the last one for us, and I am so ready to be finished with it all, and start to give away or sell a lot of the baby things - but I want to use them 1 more time first

The pink stuff will be the hardest for me to get rid of, for sure. I have bought a couple of things in the past year, 1 pink, 1 neutral - trying to stay confident!

I'm so sorry for your loss. That would be very hard. I'm not sure what I would do in that situation.

It's been so long since I had mine that I didn't save a thing from them. I do wish I had sometimes. Even just a few special things. By now though, strollers car seats and such would be a safety problem. (geez it doesn't feel like that long since they were teeny!!

I just have 4 bins of stuff that was from when my girls were a baby left. I am holding on to them with great hope, but I am with you. It's getting to the point where I'm starting to think, what if it really doesn't? How long do we want to try until we decide to let what will be just be. We have been only very actively TTC for 10 mos, but we are LIH for 3 years.

I still have all DS's clothes packed away and I have one pink dress hanging in the wardrobe as we have baby surprises and Mum bought a coming home outfit for a boy and girl. Hubby and I also have things from when we were babies, he has a full knitted layette which due to the time of year DS was born we couldn't use and the same will be likely for our next baby, and I have my bunny rug from when I was born.

I have tons of baby stuff, but I know what you mean about the special box. I have a few pink things stashed away in the hope that someday I can give my boys a sister (they sure want one). I'm also kind of a crochet nut and I have close to a dozen little stuffed dinosaurs I've made for #4... whenever we eventually have him. I'm sure if we get a girl she'll enjoy them, too.
I also started making a few things this summer (when I was due in March). There's a little sleeper I haven't finished knitting yet. Hopefully I'll feel like working on it again soon. For now, it's stashed away in that box.

Same here, I don't have anything.. Except one Playtex drop-in baby bottle that I got in the mail for free.. I put it inside my future nursery on the shelf in the closet. Every now and then I find myself in the empty room.. daydreaming.. weird right!?

Froggie - I also have a future baby board on my pinterest!

    GUILTY!!

I keep buying baby stuff that I'm finding on clearance. Its terrible. I cant help myself! Mostly just little accessories though. I probably wont buy any clothes even after a bfp, except for a coming home outfits for each.

We have 2 boys and 6+ bins bursting full of boy clothes through 2T, shoes, and linens. If we have a boy this time we wont NEED any new clothes.
