This is our third boy. The ultrasound went well and everything was measuring spot on. It was a big relief since we've had so many problems so far with this pregnancy. Our OB appt last week had me in tears, I'm down 20 lbs from when I got pregnant and the doctor really let me have it! Like I WANTED to be throwing up all the time. The tech was looking around and measuring things forever before she said anything. I wanted to yell at her to make sure the baby was still alive before she started doing measurements, but that was just me being paranoid. We didn't get any good pictures but we could see enough to make sure that he had all the necessary parts.
I hope the m/s lets up soon.

Thanks. I've been feeling much better lately and thought I was eating better too, so I was kind of surprised that I'd lost more weight. I have to keep a food journal now and my husband is really proactive about making sure I eat. Last week we ate out a lot so I'm guessing that I've gained some.
I am sure I would have been in the same position if I'd had bad m/s--my nausea is HELPED by eating, so it wasn't the same issue, but still I truly feel like I've been eating like a crazy person and I have only gained 1.5 pounds from my prepregnancy weight so far. Seriously, I have been eating tons of cheese, avocado, nuts, fried chicken, whole milk yogurt...I mean LOTS of mostly healthy (ignore the fried chicken ) but high calorie and high fat foods. My pregnancy metabolism must be insanely high. (Not complaining, just...I can see how easy it would be to lose a bunch of weight if I were unable to eat a lot on top of this!) I hope it turns around for you now that you're feeling better.
