    Default New Ultrasound!

    7 Weeks, 6 days

    6 weeks, 3 days

Obviously we can tell the baby is growing, which is great. The HB was 146bpm so that is awesome for just about 8 weeks, and has sped up dramatically.
But bcs the hospital officially won't let techs give results, they wouldn't tell me how many weeks/days the baby is measuring.
Also, my uterus doesn't look like it has a bigger space, the black doesn't look any bigger than a week and a half ago. I'm not sure if that means anything.

So. Deciding if I should feel better and be thrilled that the baby is bigger, and heartrate is great. Or if I should still be scared because of my uterus and the lack of measurement. Arg. Dr will get results tomorrow(ish). I hate waiting!!

First... that's great news that the baby is bigger and the hb is higher!
Second... (BOO for having to wait 24+ hours for the dr to call you!) I know this is easier said than done, but try not to worry. It looks like the pictures were taken from different machines? If they were taken from 2 different machines, there will for sure be different resolutions, and it's nearly impossible to compare.

Try not to worry! Beautiful pictures!!!

I agree with Becca. I hate that this OB is already giving you so much cause for worry! Looks like a healthy pregnancy to me

    yay for a healthy baby!
I know what you mean about the sac looking smallish, but keep in mind it's a cross section of a 3D space, so you're not seeing all of it.

Well she seems to still not be happy with the fluid amount. And she says that now my yolk sac is shaped oddly. The baby is four days behind in growth. And wants to repeat in a week, because she doesn't think that looks promising.
I did my own research and can't find any reason for alarm on those findings.

I think I'm switching drs. I don't like to be constantly worried. And I don't like that when I asked her WHY it wasn't promising, she didn't really have an answer for me. She said the growth wasn't good, but four days behind is not that much at all. I don't like drs who can't tell me why they are worried, or that might be worrying me for no reason. I really don't like that the fumbling trainee that did my ultrasound remeasured each thing 4 times and couldn't find my right ovary.

The heartbeat sped up perfectly, and the baby grew a decent amount. Four days behind is not enough to be concerned with, imo. So I'm just sticking with that, and will see someone new, and get their opinion.

Ugh! I'm sorry you aren't getting the reassurance you need. I would agree that 4 days behind, in and of itself, is not a big deal. The question I have is 4 days behind what? Your LMP date? Where does that compare to the first u/s at 6 wks 3 days, ie. did baby's growth slow in the time b/w 6 wks 3 days and 7 wks 6 days? If you measured 4 days behind at both u/s then no big deal. The h/r increasing is a great sign IMO. Hope you can get definitive good news soon.

Behind the date I had figured according to ovulation. The first ultrasound said 1 day behind that. Now it says 4 days behind that.

The u/s pic looks GREAT to me. I think it is very reassuring that the baby's heartbeat sped up and the baby is growing. I'm so sorry your dr. is being vague and not giving you clear help. I hope you can find a new dr. who will not worry you so much.
