We are both feeling much better today. I had to take DD1 to gymnastics this am and out again for OB in the afternoon. I actually ate some tomato, baked tillapia, and sweet potato fries for dinner tonight. My first semi-normal (but tiny) meal since getting sick Monday morning.

Tomorrow, I have a lot of work to do to get ready for DD2's second birthday party on Saturday (make her cake, nail down her games, wrap her presents, etc). Thankfully, DH bought a total house cleaning groupon a while back and we already had it set up for tomorrow, so I don't have to clean before the party! That is a relief!

I don't know what a total house cleaning groupon is......but man it sounds great!!!
Have fun with her party and I'm glad to hear that things are improving.

    Sooooooooooooo glad you're feeling better!!!

And as I said on your FB, a total housecleaning groupon at this point is sheer genius!!! I actually bought one before and they cancelled my appointment because they were too overwhelmed. I got a refund, but still...DISAPPOINTING! I still want to do it again, though (with a different company...)

House is clean! A little funny story. They were originally scheduled to come at 7 am. Early... but, doable. Then, last night we get an e-mail saying they will be here at 8 am. Much better. I wake at 6:30 and lay in bed for a few minutes checking my mail/FB stuff on my phone. DD2 wakes about 6:45 and says that her blankets are off and she needs to go potty (she talks through the monitor to us in our room all the time). I get up and change her into her day clothes and make her bed and DS comes into her room. So, I ask him to read some books to her in her room while I hop in the shower real quick. Get in the shower and have shampoo in my hair a few minutes later and DS runs into my bathroom yelling, "THE CLEANERS ARE HERE MAMA!" Oh, gosh... it is 7:10. "They rang the doorbell and knocked on the door and everything". I rinse my hair a tad, jump out of the shower, scramble to find something decent to pull on... decided on t-shirt pjs, but no bra and no underwear... try and dab my hair a bit. Run down the stairs, go to the back door, turn off the alarm, run back to the front door, holding my towel infront of me.. no contacts/glasses, can't see a thing... open the door and greet three Hispanic house cleaners... I mumble something about getting an e-mail last night that said 8:00am. Sorry, I'm not ready, but come on in and start downstairs. One girl kind of translated for the rest of them. (I understand enough Spanish to know the jist of what she told them.) Run back upstairs. Get clothes out for DS. Have him take DD2 into his room while he got dressed with strict instructions to keep her in there. DD1 wakes, grab clothes for her, tell her to get dressed, put her clothes in her hamper and make her bed and go to DS's room if I am not out of the shower by the time she is done. Run to my room, finish my shower, and get dressed! Whew! It was a crazy 30 minutes getting ready the rest of the way with strangers cleaning downstairs, but we did it. And they stayed for 2 hours... so 6 hours of work. They worked hard and it looks really nice in here. There were a couple of things (dusting mostly) that I touched up, since I'm a little anal about left behind fuzz and I had to reset all the table top decor and garbage cans and a few other things... but, totally worth it.

Oh man, that sounds like a dream!! Except the mad shower morning dressing rush. I did the bathroom today. One room a day is my goal!

    Feeling better and betterer?
