Default So, Have You Told Anyone Yet?

I have only told a few close friends, who new we were trying, but I'm trying to come up with a creative way to make the announcement via pictures once I have my first appt. as all our family lives away from where we live.

Option A. Write on the bigs feet: We are expect-ing a baby.
Option B. Get Thing 1, Thing 2, Thing 3 t-shirts for the kids and one for me that says "Thing 4" right over my belly.

Other ideas? How will you break the news?

I am horrible about keeping something a secret when I'm excited. So right now a few of my friends know. And I decided to tell work because I'm not sure what at work I should stay away from, and now the dr appts will make more sense!

I'm really trying to keep it away from family until the end of March. We live 4 hours from his fam and 4 hours from mine. We are taking his spring break (he teaches at college) and making a round about trip to see them all and tell them in person. I would LOVE to think of a cool fun way to tell them!!!

    The tshirt idea is adorable!!!

I don't quite understand what you mean in the first one?

I had a friend who wrote "WE ARE" "EXPECT ING" "A BABY"... one word on the bottomof each of her kids' feet and had them sitting down on a couch or something to take the picture, so you could read the message across their feet... but, that was all she put at first. So at first glance, you thought it was just a cute picture of her three kids.... and then I spotted the "secret" message.

We told our families and a few close friends - we meant to keep it a secret longer, but every time we hang out with friends on the weekend, someone will offer me a glass of wine, and when I say no, they go: "Are you pregnant?! OMG, you're pregnant!!" (I am pretty sure that this means I am a terrible lush) So then, like, ten people knew so we figured we'd better tell our families so they don't end up hearing the news through the grapevine.

i LOVE the tshirt idea!!! im still waiting for my BFP (testing VERY soon) and i have been trying to figure out how to do it. last time i put my oldest in a big brother shirt. i saw a few blog posts where you have a pic with dad with kids+mom= number of family members with new baby counting (if that makes any sense what so ever LOL)... i want to make my oldest a shirt that says "big brother round 2" and my youngest saying "big brother round 1" but not sure yet!!

well, we're coming off two consecutive m/cs, so... a bunch of people know we're trying. I haven't told anyone other than DH yet. We'll probably tell his parents tonight. We see them a lot and I won't be able to hide the symptoms much longer. I'll probably tell my family this weekend if my bloodwork looks good this week. Other people will probably find out when the hyperemesis or the lightheadedness get the better of me.

In the past we've made a "big brother: t-shirt for the youngest.
