    Default spotting

I had some pink spotting this afternoon. I have an appointment tomorrow afternoon and I'll ask about it then. I just checked with my doppler and got a beautiful HB close to 180bpm, but I'm still so scared. I was just starting to relax, get excited, and think about telling the kids.

Try not to worry! So many people have spotting all throughout first trimester. It might be old blood from implantation. I'm glad you have an appt tomorrow, and I bet you'll get an ultrasound if you ask too! Praying everything is okay.

My appointment went fine. And I got an u/s.

There's baby, measuring 9w0d with a HB of 180. That's the good news.
There are now two areas of bruising/bleeding. One tiny, one a lot bigger. The MW didn't see too worried, especially since the spotting has stopped. I'm going to try to take it easy and I just have to keep hoping it doesn't cause any problems for baby.

Such a great pic of the babe! Glad the spotting stopped and that your m/w doesn't seem concerned.

Do you know why there are bruised areas? I can't believe how adorable that ultrasound pic is! Glad everything seems fine, and hopefully the bruised areas will just heal up right away so you can relax.
