Default TMI thread...let's talk about our issues!

So my biggest issue at this point, and sorry I know this is totally TMI, but my area is constantly wet! It's disgusting. I was tripping out thinking I might have a fluid leak or something, but today my midwife just told me it's estrogen. My poor little bits are irritated feeling all the time too, so I'm just feeling uncomfortable. I bought little panty liners so I am hopeful they will help? I know my bladder is pretty weak this time around too, so that's also a factor. But it's mainly just this sweaty, swamp crotch feeling. Bleh.

Besides that, it's just the normal aches and pains. I tend to cramp a lot, and my lower back is starting to ache at times. I've also gained a good 22 pounds, which for me is right on target since I usually gain about 40 total. I've been eating pretty darn healthy AND doing 30 minutes of prenatal pilates about 5 days a week, so I feel like I'm doing fine. I always have a difficult time getting the last 10 off once the baby is older, so that's the only bummer about gaining extra weight.

Please share your pregnancy woes so we can feel bad for one another!!

I hate that feeling!!! I'm not having much issue with wetness right now, but I've gone through periods in my life where I did and I can tell you that by far the best pantyliners are the Always ones, or any kind with a stay-dry layer on top, not just plain cotton. Word to the wise

I'm actually still feeling fine (sorry!) except that I keep waking up with a super sore joint--a couple of days ago it was my shoulder, today it was my hip--that is extremely painful for about 24-36 hours. I guess it's the relaxin, and sleeping positions doing it, but...ugh! At least it's not lasting, but it's still super annoying and painful while it's there! I have my second chiro appointment this afternoon and am really looking forward to it. My back is still doing OK, but feeling like I generally need a good massage...after my last appointment, I felt wonderful, so I'm definitely excited to get back to that

I'm also just starting to feel...ungainly. Like, I'll bend over to pick something up or put something in a low cabinet and realize that I should have squatted, or rolling over in bed is starting to get a little more...effortful. It's not a huge nuisance yet, but I can tell that it's the beginning of the end...

I was starting to feel a little swelling again yesterday, but I did an inversion and it's better again.

Generally things have been going really well. Still making it to the gym about 3 times a week and doing 45 min. on the cross-trainer and then some squats and arm weights. I think this is really helping to gain less weight this time around and help keep my back stronger as last time around my lower back went out a couple of times towards the end of the pregnancy, but I am feeling well.
Last night though, we took the kids to a drive-in movie theatre and ate junk until midnight and then I couldn't go to sleep once we got back to the hotel... so I probably slept from about 2:30-6:00 am... that was it. I did not feel good this am. Holy gas... my belly was gurgling and I passed a bunch of gas and just felt nauseous and dizzzy and like I was going to throw up. We stopped at some Caverns on the way home and I even debated whether or not to go through the 1 hour tour with DH and the big kids... didn't know I could do it. Thankfully, after coming home and taking an hour and a half nap and eating a bit more, I feel much better.
My bits... If I sit for a long period of time or like when I get up to pee in the middle of the night or get up from bed in the morning, my bits are almost tingly and I feel pressure down there. SO STRANGE! Have never had this feeling before. Once I'm up and moving, it's all good. Leigh... is this kind of what you have talked about? Think I may need to do the polar bear thing soon to see if it helps.
Oh how I wouldn't mind if my MW put me on pelvic rest... My poor DH, I just have NO SEX DRIVE atm. At least I'd have a real reason for not wanting sex. I never really have much of a sex drive when I'm pregnant, but this time around is the worst. I think it's because I am so busy with the other three kids all day long, that I am so ready to sleep at bedtime.

I thought I wouldn't mind pelvic rest. That was 2 months ago.
I don't have any real third tri pains yet. I've promised myself not to complain about them when they start because I don't know how much third tri I'll get and I want to enjoy every minute of it.

Oh... and once a week it seems, I have some bad heartburn/acid issues, but a few tums and a big bowl of icecream seem to help.

Started to have more BH Contrax... but, mostly when I'm extra tired or have been cleaning the house too much.

I wouldn't mind having a medical excuse either, sadly. Poor DH! Sleep is just so much more attractive...

No, my problem is definitely SWELLING, not tingling (like, it feels like it wants to burst down there, ugh!) but polar bear still might help you if it's caused by the baby putting pressure on a nerve or something. Worth a try! Feels nice, anyway.

Okay, I have an issue to complain about...not really a TMI issue but annoying and painful! For the last week or so, I keep waking up every day with either pain in my right shoulder OR my right hip. Neither seems directly pregnancy related (i.e. affected by my growing belly) so I'm thinking it's just all the relaxin and whatnot making my joints loose and more prone to getting messed up. I've been trying to sleep on my left side more, but I have a tendency to gravitate to my right and even so it doesn't seem to make much difference. It's REALLY annoying...either I'm having trouble walking, or using my right arm for a few hours every day. UGH!!! Anybody else ever had anything like this? Anything to be done about it?

Sorry to hear about the sweaty crotches, aches, pains, sciatica and no sex. No good at all.

My main complaint (at the moment) is tiredness. Holy moly, I'm feeling it today. Also, I feel like my muscles just to the left of my belly button are ripping apart. They get so sore sometimes I have to take something for it.
