The TWW

Thought I would start this as no one has yet!

So I am officially here as I O'd sometime in the last 24 hours and we did our IUI yesterday. I think this will be a horrendous TWW this time as we actually paid to get this baby and it was so much more difficult...

Here's to a quick TWW for everyone!!

I'll jump in here too. Temp jumped today, and well dr says it happened sometime over the weekend - my gut is telling me it was Sunday. Fingers crossed we are both staying in October!

This week should be quick we are busy and habe some severe weather coming so we will probably lose a few tree branches. Tryingg not to thinkabout pregnancy much at the moment, but it js. Hard to switch it off

I had a positive OPK on the 24th, which was CD 16. This is only my second cycle since having my DD and my last cycle was only 24 days. Praying that my luteal phase is long enough this month : (

I've had two faint positives already, but I feel like I am still in the 2WW. I had a chemical pregnancy back in July, so I'm a little bit nervous about whether or not this one will stick. So, feel like I'm still waiting for AF to show/not show. Good luck to all of you still waiting to test!

Good luck Carrie.

You know what sucks, not knowing when you O'd, I could be anywhere between 5 and 7 dpo. No real symptoms yet except being tired but thats usual anyway, I always seem tired lately.

Oooo Carrie, does that make you the first official Momma-to-be on this board?

I dunno...could be. Has anyone else gotten a BFP? I am going to test again tomorrow morning to see if the line is getting darker and as long as all is well, I will call my OB for bloodwork next week. Smile

Looks like I might not be sticking around here after all. An FRER this morning was very faint and a Dollar Tree cheapie came up negative today at 15 DPO. Feel like I'm just waiting for AF to show at this point. Sad

I would trust the FRER over the Dollar Tree version. Do you feel like AF is coming (crampy or anything?)

I would trust the FRER over the dollar tree one. I hope you get to stick around...sticky vibes all the way!!!!

I am 6DPIUI today... this is the longest TWW EVER!!!!! I can't believe how slow this is going. I am testing my trigger out still and I am getting two lines I hope they don't go away!!!

I guess the reason I am thinking it's over is because I took 2 Dollar Tree tests on 11 and 12 DPO...they both had a faint line. Today, at 15 DPO, I am getting no line at all on the Dollar Tree tests (I used 2 of them) and the FRER is so faint. I know they are supposed to be more sensitive than regular HPTs so I figured I would get a much darker line at 15 DPO. Oh well, only time will tell. I'd love to be wrong in this situation! I don't really feel any AF symptoms, and my temps are all wonky because I have been sick and sleeping with my mouth open.

I'm here this month. I've been charting to prevent since September and am expecting to TTC in the spring. For some reason I O'd on CD 13 instead of 16-18 so there is a small chance.

Some one come hide all the tests, I'm getting the itch to test.

Where did my post go? I swear I posted on here the other day. *sigh*

Almost sure I'm out since we barely DTD this month. DH got sick at the exact wrong time....

So I know its VERY early but at 9DPIUI I HAD to test...it came up negative...:( Makes me sad but like I said I know it's early. I also said from the beginning that it would not happen the first cycle...I believe that the 2nd cycle will be it!!!

Good luck to the rest of you who will be testing in the next couple of days...

9DPIUI is very early, that negative could be a positive in a few days.

There has been an issue with the board Mel and a heap of posts went missing.

I think I am 11DPOish and getting very twitchy. I on and off think I might have symptoms then just feel delusional. No spotting so far which is good because the last few months before IUI and progesterone I was starting spotting about now.

So I used OPKs through when I normally O so I think I really did O on CD13 instead of 18. I'm feeling slightly neurotic about this. When I got pregnant with my loss, it was the same situation as this (going to TTC in a couple months, early O). I keep thinking if what if that was a loss because of poor egg quality/early O. Not sure when I'll test but since I have tests in the house, I will test. Since going off BC last year my luteal phase is 9-11 days so I'll probably test Saturday(10DPO) if my temps are still high.

I am also itching. 8DPO according to FF and 9-10 according to RE. Planning to wait until Friday to test. Just have to get through 2 more days. 2 more days...I can do it.

Haha Julie, I could test now but I'm not going to, I had a trigger shot and although it should be gone now I just don't feel I can trust it. I'm not sure when or if I will test, I think if af hasn't arrived I will.

This gets harder and harder lol you would think it's been so long, after many cycles I feel like I'd be getting use to this by now :s
Vowing not to test unless af doesn't show. Can't be bothered to waste another test and give my hopes up....again Sad

Best of luck gals

Congrats Natalie!

We're getting a snowstorm starting tonight and lasting all day tomorrow, my first thought was buying a test before i can't get out to get one, then i thought i was crazy because i'll only be 7DPO. My mom is having brain surgery for an aneurysm Friday morning, so we're traveling out of state Thursday-Sunday so I can be there. Hopefully that will keep my mind busy and I can test Monday.

Katie, it doesn't get easier at all and not sure you really get used to it. It's going on 2 ish years now and it's not easier nor am I used to it, if anything it may be harder seeing pregnant women and new babies etc.

Defiantly doesn't get easier!! I was driving to work today and in the car next to me was a baby about 6 months old and I started to cry. I'm sure most of it was all the drugs in my system and because I'm getting close to AF but I cried. Nothing about this journey for anyone is easy and we don't have to get use to it.

I would normally agree with you Katie, but a friend sent me a whole bag of pg tests and I'm dying to try them. She even sprinkled baby dust on them for me....lol

Jordan, good luck with your mom's surgery. I hope everything goes well - that sounds pretty scary.

And good luck to all those about to test!

I've just got here today... LOL CD14 and O day... Now to get through the TWW without obsessing or POAS too often/early! Blum 3

Struggling in these last few days of the TWW. It doesn't help I am home all day with nothing to do but obsess this week. Hubby has just had two days off and I think I am annoying him with my obsessing. I'm not temping right now but I wish I was so I could see what my temps were doing.

Oh my Jordan, I hope your mom's surgery goes to the best as it can go. That's scary. If you need to talk or anything just send me a message I'm a great listener!

Sarah jean, how many children if any do you have now?

Best of luck everyone

I consider it a small victory that I did not POAS this morning.

I have seven children - 4 boys, 2 girls, then a 5th boy. Smile They're aged between 12 and 4 years old.

I am so glad that it's Thursday and I can test tomorrow. This has been the longest week ever. I was feeling positive, but am feeling a but achy in my lower back which has knocked the wind out of my sails. I will still POAS in the morning but am feeling so lucky less confident right now.

Bfn this morning. I'm about 13dpo. No sign of af, but I don't get a lot of signs of her impending arrival anyway. I haven't even had any spotting which is good, I was getting some sdpotting nearly every month before. I'm still hoping I som ehow magically get a bfp, but with them cancelling the iui because my stats weren't looking good and having a trigger shot just in case they may not have been the greatest follies growing this month when they released

Julie, good luck with testing this morning! And Wendy I'm so sorry you're feeling bleak, but you know what they say about the fat lady and her singing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you both. Smile

BFN. 11-13 DPO. maybe just too early but lower back says otherwise.

Sorry Julie, no lines, whether because just too early or otherwise still sucks.

Seriously body if af is going to start just start already, none of this namby pamby brown tinges in cm stuff on and off to make me feel like I am crazy and that someone could actuallh be gestating in there. Also ds being adament that Princess Alice his princess baby is in my belly doesn't help.

Julie - I hope it is just too early for you

Wendy - I hope you get a definite answer soon.

Comments like that, no matter who they are from or how good their intentions are hard.

9 DPO and BFN. My luteal phase used to be 14 days and I didn't get BFP until 13dpo so I was hopeful that now that my luteal phase is 10 days I'd see something. My temps went up and are now in the range they have only been when I was pregnant but who knows. When I charted previously, my monthly charts were like carbon copies. I've been (obsessively) looking at the last 7 months and there is no pattern other than I consistently O. Going to try to wait until Sunday...

Sad to Julie and Wendy. Dani - 9dpo is pretty early for most people.

If I get nothi g real today I will poas again tomorrow. Maybe it was implantation bleeding or something, I did have lots of spotting between 9 and 22 weeks with ds so fingers crossed. The bonus is no matter what happens I have had a good lentgh lp this month with no earlt spotting which can only be a good thing

I know Mel. Last time I was convinced I was pregnant because of nausea and tested every day from 8dpo, nothing until 13dpo and even that was strong enough to be real but faint enough to question. The other pregnancies I tested at 15 dpo. Apparently I have not gained patience with age.

Dani - ha ha, patience with age, does that really happen for anyone???!!! Wink when are you testing again?

Wendy - ugh, not fun when you just can't figure out what's going on. I'm glad your LP was decent this month though!

I'm fairly happy that it's CD28 and I'm not spotting yet. Means I'm having a normal LP this month too! I'll test on CD31 if AF doesn't show between now and Tuesday. I still think I'm not preggo, but you never know!

11 dpo has been my longest luteal phase so if my temps are still high, I'll test tomorrow but really I should wait until 13 dpo on Tuesday.

Ok so around 15dpo, still nothing, yesterday was probably less spotting than the day before as well. I have only been late once before to my knlwledge and that was pregnant with ds. I tested this morning and nothing definative, there is no hope of blood tests because a gp will likely take two weeks to get into, I could call thefertility clinic tomorrow but it would be Tuesday before I could go and get it done for same day results due to a work commitment tomorrow, if I went in the afternoon when I got back it would still be late Tuesday before I heard because I will miss the courier

If there was a line it was a squinter, I thought there may be something sometimes when I looked but the other times it looked like nothing. I know those tests pick up tiny amounts of hcg as well, I had a chem pregnancy a couple of months back with faint lines on multipl,e tests including these ones and my blood levels were a 2 which is not pregnant

Update I got my answer, time to pack up and go to November
