yep!!!! i was just going to do the number 1 theme unless something else comes up before his birthday. i was originally going to have just immediate family, but dh mentioned inviting more which means everyone so our house will be packed with like 80 people come oct haha (probably not 80, i doubt everyone will come)

Yup, been thinking about since she was born, lol! We will celebrate at my mom's house as she and dd both have the same birthday and will probably just invite all the family. I want to do a pink, white and brown color scheme and plan to make a Neapolitan cake and make her a tutu in those colors.

We are going to merge his party with a halloween gathering for the preschool kids. Everyone will get to dress up in their costumes & we will have different craft stations (bag decorating, cookie decorating, pumpkin painting, ect). I'll maybe just do carrot muffins instead of cake. All my preschool kids have been with him since birth so it just seems like a fun thing for everyone. Otherwise I'd have just done family.

I have been thinking about it a lot. Lyla's birthday is the day after her cousins birthday and I'm worried (even though nobody's brought it up) that SIL is just going to assume that we are combining they are sharing the party. I want Lyla to have her own birthday and her own party. It's not fair to her OR my neice (who's 10 years older than Lyla) for them to share a birthday party.

I will be making the cake. We avoid trans fats in this house as much as possible so I make things from scratch, which means no cake mix or canned/store bought frosting. I haven't decided on just how I want to decorate the cake or really on a theme or location yet. It's going to depend on who all might end up coming.

My birthday is exactly one week before Rowan's, so we'll probably just do a joint birthday barbecue on the weekend in between them.

I'm planning on making a cake to match her stuffed caterpillar, if that's still her favorite toy at the time. If it isn't her favorite, I'm going to be really disappointed, because my planned cake is really cute (at least, in my head it's cute - I may have some trouble actualizing it).

Other than at some point near his birthday he will have a homemade from scratch cake, nothing is planned. No idea if we'll still be living here or not or in the middle of moving. Or even if DH will be here. I'll figure it out in October. Hopefully we'll know what's going on by then.

We have had the date set for months, but in my defence it's my cousins 18th birthday the day before so we needed to sort dates out so we didn't clash.
I think he will have some kind of truck cake, made from scratch and a bbq for family and some close friends, but that still ends up around 40 people. I will send some cupcakes to daycare for him to share on the day as well

    Just tell them up front;0)
We are combining all 3 kids...they are 3 weeks apart!
My Little Pony for Hailey, Spiderman for Jonah, and either cowgirl, princess and pony, or cupcake theme for Josie...may be kitten too?!
I haven't figured it out...we get them each a cake...and decorate...but it would be silly to invite family over 3 times in a matter of weeks...I cant afford it! LOL!

Anna, I would hope that they know that the 1st is a big deal... If not mention it..

I still am hoping to do either a halloween bit or something Fall themed. It wont be a huge event..
