    Default 8, 9, 10 month sleep regression?

I think we have hit it. It took over an hour to get him to sleep tonight and he kept screaming and crying. we havn't dealt with this since he was 4-5 months. It hasn't been just tonight, although tonight was pretty bad but for the past week or so it has been a little more difficult getting him down. He has also been really whiny and fussy so i hope this ends soon cause i don't want to go back to 2-3 hours getting him to go to sleep lol. anyone else?

Owen has not taken a full nap (30 minutes at the MOST, and that's at the boob..forget trying to move him!) for about a week now!

    I am going bonkers.

DS's sleep is totally off due to traveling, going back and forth between two different houses while out of town, and teething. Last night he wanted to nurse every 2 hours which I was not very fond of! We've got another 15 or so days left here, so I'm pretty sure I'll be dealing with messed up sleep till he hits 9 months in August. Yay. Not.

Lyla STTN for about a month from 6 to 7 months. Got me all spoiled on it and then regressed. Now we are up at least 2x a night for nearly 2 months now. I am very seriously ready for her to go back to STTN.

Her naps are ridiculous. She sleeps about 30 minutes (max) twice a day and then tends to be difficult during the evening hours starting around 5:30. Though I do have to say that she is generally a very happy baby, I think we could be happier longer if she napped better, and I garuantee that momma would be happier if she STTN.

About 2 or 3 weeks ago it got so bad that everytime I moved her from the boob (no matter how asleep she was) she would wake up and immediately start screaming. I rehired the ol' swaddle and solved that problem lickety split (after a week of this torture). She would wake up as soon as she touched the crib mattress and then roll to her belly, crawl to the side and pull herself up to standing and then just scream and cry. I"m liking the swaddle again after not using it for several months.

We still live by the swaddle Anna...lol!

Yes, sleep was good at like 5 months and then horrible for a while. Ugh. I felt like I was going to loose it too. We are on about 2-3 weeks of much better sleep but I'm so afraid to go on vacation with him next week and ruin everything.

It's on and off. Some times he STTN and others he is up 2-3 times. But he often won't nap very long then he's really grumpy

Yep yep in total regression. Simon was sttn from about 6 months to 8 months. Since he's been sick, well and got better, he's been sleeping like crap. I've been sleeping with him for half the night just so I can get some sleep, which is crappy at best because he tosses and turns so much that it keeps me awake.

I've been reading alot about sleep and babies and apparently this is a big time for sleep disturbances because so many milestones are happening right now. And that the brain rests best in light stages of sleep that is why they stay in light sleep more, but they are also more rousable in light sleep leading to lots of night wakenings unfortunately.

His naps have fortunately been ok. He took 2 1.5 hour naps yesterday and 1 hour nap. I usually try to nap with him for at least one of those naps or I'm just wrecked.

I hope all our babies decide that this sleep regression is over soon so we can get some sleep!!!!

ya he would do this when i put him down. except i always put him down awake and he was fine now he crawls to the bottom of the crib and sticks his face to the bars and screams or cries mamamammamamama. For so long i could just put him down and leave the room and he would be out in 5 minutes if that.
