Thread: 8 Months old...

Well, technically we've been 8 months old for a few days, but oh well

Charlotte is doing wonderfully now, despite a VERY rocky couple of months. She's now in the 75% for both height AND weight! She weighs a whopping 20 lbs at her last weigh in! Hard to believe, considering that's more than double her weight in February! We're crawling and eating solids like a champ...

and yet I can't help feeling a little sad.

We have officially weaned now, and never did end up using the SNS. I really tried to keep my supply up while she was sick. I really did. But for a while there she was taking 9 oz bottles every 2 hours. (Over 100 oz a day! )

I can't believe my baby girl is getting so big already, and it's so very bittersweet. We're not planning anymore babies, due to dh's big V and I kind of feel like we got robbed a little from getting to enjoy her being tiny between my PPD and her being so sick. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad she's healthy now, but I just feel like her first year is everything I wanted to avoid

Sorry about the rambling I am just a little down lately.

In good news though, we have Miss Charlotte signed up for her first National Pageant next summer in Nashville TN. She has a couple regional and state-level before then, too.

I'm so happy to hear that Charlotte is doing fantastic!! She's so cute TFS the pics.

As a side note, BIG HUGS! I understand how you feel. I can't believe how fast 8 months has gone by...

OMG! SHe is cute as a bug.. I cant believe how different she looks compared to before.. So adorable. Glad everything with her is good!

I can sympathize with the whole time going by too fast and it being the last time thing.

She is precious! Glad she is healthy now. I can't believe how fast this first year is going by either. Way too fast!!
