    Default All kinds of questions!

    OK,
So I don't want to get "fixed"...Right now...I don't think I am ready for another baby...lol...I am tired! and BUSY!!!!!!!!!!! I'd love another one...(blessings!) but being pregnant is so hard on me...
BUT I don't want to take any hormones...they really mess me up...
Other than condoms what else can I do?

IUD?? I think there is one without hormones and one with. I'm no expert though, I dont have one and dont really plan on it, as I use BCP for contraception.

How are you cycles? Could you chart?

we are charting and doing condoms right now. i don't rely on the charting too much right now though as my wake up times are different because of lucas. i can't do the pill right now because of hormones and my bp, plus i am just sick of it! as for the IUD? not for me!! i'm too much of a baby

I believe, but dont quote me on this, the IUD works by messing with the lining of your uterus so that it is inhospitable for an embryo to implant. The ones with hormones also work by preventing ovulation like hormonal birth control but I think they dont affect you as much since they act locally. But I'm no expert....I'll try to find some info for you.

Hmmm according to planned parenthood I'm wrong about how it works (well sort of right I guess). Here take a look http://www.plannedparenthood.org/hea...l/iud-4245.htm

Costs between $500 and $1,000 up front, but lasts up to 12 years

We're currently using the "gee, it took me 3 years to get pg with Aiden so I can't get pregnant right now" birth control.
I'd suggest IUD too (check insurance, they might cover it). Also charting can be good. Then you could just use condoms when fertile. If I ever get AF, I'm going to attempt charting again. I've had years of experience....
