Chloe has had this weird rash going on for about a month and a half. I've tried eliminating things to figure point what is causing it. I've tried omitting baby food, not putting her in the grass or floor.....nothing is working. Shes only getting it on her arms, legs, thighs and face.
Took her to the doctor today and they said its bug bites.... Well they must be ok invisible because I havent seen a thing. No one else in the house has had a single bite... I think its a allergic reaction.
My dad keeps telling me that I need to fix it and says things like poor baby, lime im a bad mom.
They dont seem to bother her at all and go away without scaring...
I made an appointment with a different doctor..
Idk what else I can do.
DS1 gets a weird rash, I took him to the doc and he said he had no idea what it was but gave us some cream and it went away. It kind of looks like excema...but not. Is Chole's a spotty rash or a flacky skin rash?
Can you post a picture for us? I have keratosis which is just a bit of redness and bumpiness on my arms (and lately my thighs). It's harmless and painless, but looks unsightly when it flare up. . . just a thought.
What about detergent or the baby wash you are using? Could that be it?

It sounds to me like it might be keratosis. I also ave it on my arms. No pain or anything, just ugly.
But Pics would help. Other than thatyou're a GREAT mama and you'll figure out what's going on with Chloe.
It could be excema, like the others said. Lily had a weird rash on her neck one time and the ped said it was excema and to put a&d ointment or aquafor on it 2x a day until it got a little better, then use baby lotion on it after that. It cleared up w/in a few weeks. Also, is she still bf, or is she ff now? If so, what kind of formula are you using? Lily is also allergic to milk and breaks out in a rash anytime she has milk or other dairy. That rash is usually on her face and chest, although I'm sure it would spread if she continued to have a lot of dairy.

Well we can rule out keratosis. They look kind of like chicken pox to me, but I think your ped would have been able to diagnose that. And you said they go away. . . hmmm, I don't know.
On the bright side, those are some very cute, chunky little baby legs!
