I won't be much help but I will try. I need to remember to take my mei tai or ring sling grocery shopping with me for when Ronin gets sick of sitting in the trolley. I wish I could back carry, but I have never worked it out.

Jackie, someone on the April board just posted a thread about carriers. I'll post a link to the BW board there.

ETA: Nevermind! You already got that one!

Yeah. I lurk when bored enough on BBs scanning for things about BWing.

Eventually I'm going to do a thread all about Mei Tais, one about SSCs (buckle carriers), one about wraps, one about ring slings, one about safe back wearing, and one about toddler wearing (this is us ladies ).

And while I'm thinking about it I'm gonna write it down here so I don't forget.....
threads about nursing while BWing, favorite things to do while BWing, BWing in "unusual" locations, why you should never use stretchy wraps for back carries, and ideal positioning while in a carrier.

Wendy, those are great pictures! I didn't get a ring sling till DS was a little older but it's great for newborns.

Thanks, I knew I had them somewhere. I never got that one right where It was adjustable and stuff, but damn it was awesome for feeding in, there was so much extra mmaterial you couldn't see a thing.

Slings are by far the easiest to BF in IMO! I could do it in a mei tai, but I wouldn't do it out in public. SSCs don't work at all. And wrapping and I aren't friends.

I started a baby-wearing safety thread over there. A lot of people don't do enough reseach and don't necessarily use carriers properly. I thought a thread where the expert BWers could post tips and safety info might be worthwhile.
