wait, they're supposed to wear their clothes?! mine run around naked almost every day unless we have to leave.
it's cold here. and i don't want to waste the clothes. remember i have OCD over them:p
Nakey time is awesome, we have lino through the house so easy clean up, although I do often leave a nappy on simply because Ronin likes to play in his own urine.
April annoys me
I think it's funny that nobody will listen to her. I think something bad is about to happen in that sinkhole!
Aiden is lucky if he's wearing a t-shirt at home. That's why I took and posted that pic on FB today. It's rare. lol.
i was thinking owen would die and christina would want her baby. looks like that is a bust:p
i even love doing his laundry. I like folding his clothes and organizing them I hate doing ours.
ya, I'm weird. And i have no life
I get to see my new baby cousin on Sunday. I haven't seen him yet because Ronin was sick last time we were up there so he is 10 weeks old now, but he will still be squishy and make me clucky.
DH does our laundry. I do Aiden's laundry. I don't mind Aiden's at all. I don't mind diapers one bit either! But my own? Yep, I'll put it off till I'm out of underwear. And even then I'll go commando for a few days if necessary. DH thinks I have issues.
i have about a billion pairs of underwear so i run out of clothes first, but ya i wait much longer to do mine and DH's laundry before i do his.
This laundry room is bigger than my kitchen!!!!
i want a washer and dryer like that!!! ours came with the house, they are crap
I might be more willing to do washing if that was my laundry. Mine is terrible it's not even a laundry it's just the washing machine and dryer shoved nder the house. When I get money I was to move it all and make a real laundry room.
Our machines are in the kitchen. There are useless sliding doors attempting to hide them.
I hardly use our dryer, if I had my way we wouldn't have one at all, but hubby wanted one to dry his uniform every night so we had to get one.
we always use the dryer:)
I prefer my clothes to line dry. I really prefer them on an outdoor line, but we don't have one at this house so it's undercover, but I will get an outdoor line one day.
I found another way to procrastinate, lunch, with a glass of wine.
i think we have an outdoor line. there is something out there. I just don't like my clothes smelling like outside. I like the smell of the outdoors though
Woo hoo! GREAT idea!
I'm stuck on skinnytaste.com. She had me a baked onion rings.
Ohhh I love the smell line dried clothes get, it's just a nice fresh smell
Woo hoo! GREAT idea! I'm stuck on skinnytaste.com. She had me a baked onion rings.
these sound yummy
I have very unhealthy chocolate mousse in the fridge, to have some for lunch dessert or wait for dinner dessert
Hmmm I guess everyone is starting to get ready for bed, maybe I should wash up.
I'm totally distracted by pinterest!!! lol
i'm distracted by the website Jackie posted. And the tv
Hehe, I went and washed up anyway
I can see you two have been busy on pinterest, Jackie especially.
I'd totally line dry if our water weren't so hard, the sun wouldn't bleach my clothes, and it didn't take so long.
all good reasons as well. I would cry if my clothes got sun bleached
I used to hang everything inside out to stop the bleaching issue. The insides were sun bleached, the outsides were nowhere near as bad
It would take forever to turn everything inside out then right side out again!
The next phase for our babieshttp://pinterest.com/pin/227094894/
I just hang diapers and swim stuff outside.
I never found it too bad, I would just try to make sure it was inside out when I got undressed and then when folding turn it back the right way again. Most of my stuff is still hung inside out because it just became habit to take it off inside out.
Hey Jackie, I've noticed your pumpkin obsession they are doing a pumpkin facial on The Doctors, a new use for you.
Very interesting use!
Man, I'm hungry now. Stupid food site.
I have belgian chocolate mousse
i'm always starving around this time at night:o
I have Bacardi.
I had wine for lunch, damn that was good, it's been a long time since I've done that.
That is running very true in my house right now. Poor Tobey isn't allowed to play with anything because DS1 wants everything
*cough* crazy *cough* crazy
Unfortunately, this is Clara's life as well.
I caught the mouse. I had 27 traps out last night and caught him in one in DS's room!!! :brucelee:
As a side note.....DH and I are out of our flipping minds!! We made a list of what needs to be done at the new house and since we're going to be living in it while we do it, it needs to be done in a specific order so as not to displace us too bad, you know, since I'm home all day with them and we're rolling into winter. Anyway, yep, we've gone off the deep end. A whole house remodel was hard enough when we did this house with only one child and not living in it at the time of the remodel. Somebody commit me!
So Aiden STTN again. When he woke at 6:15 his temp was almost 104. Gave him infant advil which has lowered it. Called the base clinic. Our options were wait till 1pm for an appt with the nurse (ped is gone) or take him to the ER in town. Since the advil brought down the temp we're waiting to see the nurse on base. Pretty sure taking him to the one ER for the whole blasted county and beyond would result in him getting sicker. Of course the nurse told us to give him more than the max dosage listed on the bottles of tylenol and advil. Told my best friend the pharmacists. She said to definitely not do that and that I should report her. Aiden is only 20lbs still (I seriously doubt if he's gained any weight in the past 2 months)! Ugh. I WANT TO MOVE! What kind of option is it to either take your kid to a nurse or take him to the one flippin' ER around that's full of people from Mexico over a fever. There are no other symptoms!
Ugh Jackie! I cannot believe the nurse suggested that, that's really scary! I can't wait til you move and get to somewhere you can get decent health care. I hope he gets back to his normal rambunctious self very soon. We have a fever only thing going on around here as well, I've heard from some parents how frustrating it is because there's nothing obvious but a fever. I hope the meds keep his fever low enough until you can hopefully get some answers. I just can't even imagine how frustrated you are right now. :bigarmhug:
