Janice, what I hated about that pic that I posted was that she cuts limbs off at the joint in her photos all the time, and she takes the pictures in natural lighting and then messes with it and changes it in photoshop!

Lauren, I remember your maternity photos, and I LOVED them!

Lyla has never had a professional picture taken of her either. Unless you count Santa and the easter bunny, but I don't.

ya, most of the time that doesn't work. I don't like when models look like amputees.

Lucas has had one, when he was a month old. It was a friend from work who does photography so it wasn't that professional. He has a professional one on Saturday and I LOVE her photos. Well, all the ones I have seen from her anyways.

Some of you have seen that I posted my u/s pics on FB. Well if you look at the pictures each one has the date of the u/s with how far along I am. One of my friends from HS just posted a congrats followed by asking me how far along I am. The comment is on the photo album not a photo. Obviously, she didn't even open the album!! She was always a sweet girl, but that annoys me to the point of I don't think it warrents a response. Does that make me a bad person?

And obviously the vast majority of my 'friends' paid no attention to me posted the video where we told grandma at the end of August! Most are now finding out for the first time. There must be something wrong with me. I have absolutely no close friends. These people could really care less about my life!

People are annoying. I see all the time where someone posts a photo of their newborn saying their name and weight in the caption and in the comments people are asking what the name and weight is:rolleyes: even if she has already replied! wtf.

Janice, the idea was cute but what the heck was up with the fog? Or foggyness of the pic.. It looked really blurry too.. She def. does not know how to edit!!

oh ya, I hate her editing too. The idea had potential, but she just ruined it. And the wrinkly background? yuck!

my bff just told me she is moving this weekend and will try to make it to the party. Pretty sure this means she won't be making it. I'm so dissapointed. Ya, she is moving ok but she put on facebook she was moving on the 30th not the 2nd! Bleh, I'm just feeling down tonight i think and hearing that didn't help. I called in sick to work and had my dad come get me to drive me home from Toronto in a blizzard to come to her daughters 1st birthday.

Ohhhh I forgot my big news. I think Ronin took his first unassisted step yesterday. We were feeding the kangaroos and on a bit of a slope and I let go of him and he seemed to take a step forward. Hubby didn't see it and I can't be sure so it's not official yet.

Woo hoo! He'll be a walker soon! Smile

In 12 hours my husband gets his wings! Biggrin

Before then though we've got to have all 3 of us ready (as in DH in his formal uniform, me in a dress and heels) and out the door by 8:00am. Why do I get the feeling that we're going to be late?! Lol.

I'm not good at this today, I got a code for a free photo book so I have been uploading picture for that. Then because I registered with that site I also get 30 free prints.

This is on top of me looking at the original prices on clothes I bought for $3, one was orginally $25 and the other $19. I also bought wetbags for $3. I feel very successful at saving money this week.

Exactly, just because I would never have paid for a photobook doesn't mean if one presents itself for free I shouldn't take it. I'll be doing the prints at the same time toi save on postage though.

Janice, Your friend is kind of sorry. That's all she's got? She can't take a couple of hours away from that to be at the party. How quickly we forget when you went through so much to be there for her! I know the feeling though. My BFF and I were Maid of Honor at each others wedding. She was a special honored guest at mine. I didn't even make it into the wedding photos, but there are tons of her, her DH and the best man. I even bought a dress, flew to Mississippi (destination wedding) and rented a hotel there!

You've got 2 weeks before he is full fledged walking!!

My parents are here. They decided to stop by on their way back home after going to my cousins wedding! I doubt they make it back up here for Lyla's party now though. The arrived at 5pm and my dad acted like he wanted to go on the last 6 hours home, but I talked them into spending the night and going in the morning. Lyla cries whenever my dad gets near her Sad but she warmed up to my mom and sis pretty quick. I think Lyla has developed a recent hatred for adult males in the last 2 days! I don't get it!

Oh! And I know some of those weird people who don't buy things on sale or care about discounts at all because it's being cheap!! I also know some people in the other extreme who refuse to pay full price for anything. I like to think I'm a more rational person. There is nothing wrong with saving money where you can!

I'm in the middle, I like a good bargain when I can get it, but if it's something we really need I will pay full price, but thats only after checking to see if there are deals on it if it's a big purchase.

yep, she always does this kind of thing. But there are random times when she is there when i really need her. The only reason why i put up with it is we have been friends for 18 years. I just expect from my friends what i would give them, maybe that is too much.

aww about her crying towards your dad. Does he have a mustache or anything? I have heard some babies cry at men that have facial hair. Lucas bawls anytime DH's grandfather even looks at him, like every single time lol.

DH just told me i left the window down on the jeep last night:mad: wtf?! i put the window down for a second but i was positive it went back up. He said this morning the car was full of mosquitoes. YUCK!!!! omg I hate mosquitoes. I'm not letting Lucas go in there until they are all dead. I need like fly paper or something lol

Janice I had to lol at the mosquitoes! Any time we so much as open a door we get swarmed with mosquitoes! I live near the coast though, so maybe it is the humidity! Either way poor chloe is like super sensitive to them and gets big bumps from the bites..
Sarah, that is a really funny auto correct! Biggrin
Anna, Chloe is the same way with most men..okay, she is the same way with any stranger that so much as stairs at her! How sad that they wont make it to her party Sad Dh's grandma didn't even come down to tx when chloe was born, her freaking husband came down, all she had to do was ride in the car with him! she is very unsocial and strange though.. like we went out the eat with her, which was super nice, until she grabbed my daughter and started feeling her boobs and said she had a lump and she thought that it was serious like breast cancer or something! WTF. She is crazy in my book from then on! She does the same thing to our baby cousin (her other great grand child) she says that he has dyslexic and spina bifida..neither he has!
Either way you will be too busy at her party to even notice who came and who didn't! it is always funny to me that I freak out about bday parties and then when it comes down to it, it is so fun and relaxing that I just don't care.

That is bad on leaving the window down and getting mosquitos. When we go to Dh's parents house, the closer we get, the worse the bugs get. You can't open the door just to get out of the car without 1.5 million getting in.

Those auto corrects are cracking me up. I love reading them.

And, I love to save money. I'm not an extreme coupon-er or anything, but I don't mind to save a bit here and there. Especially if I can get a great pair of shoes on sale!!:p

he said it was the window behind the driver seat so i must have hit it by accident when i put my window down. Lucas hasn't been bitten yet so I don't know how he will react, but they really creep me out I try to avoid them at all costs.

The upstairs bathroom really needs to be cleaned too. Boooo. I am taking Lucas to daycare soon so I will have like an hour to get more done. Oh, and i need to sweep and mop the basement because the cats are peeing in there AGAIN!! ya, that's what everyone will want to be smelling, cat pee!! >:l

Ashley! That painting is super cute!

I will admit that I am probably the "most thriftiest" person on this board. I really hate buying anything full price, and usually dont buy anything full price. If I dont have a coupon, I generally will buy the cheapest or generic and always buy meat in bulk and prepackage it myself, I have a stock pile, and most def will only buy diapers at a good price and then stock up on those. I usually will research in advance if we need something big.. We needed new couches, and I went to all the stores possible until I found the cheapest and closest to what I wanted. Same with our mattress. We waited a good 3 months before I finally found one that was a good enough price..My poor kids, never get clothing at full price.. Always off the clearance rack.. Im sure when they get older I wont be able to get away with that..

Yay for going out to dinner!!! Maybe I can talk my DH into taking me out. I know we have to go to Home Depot (I love that store!!) and get some things to make a flower bed around our deck. Then maybe we can go out after that.

Evan has a lot of hair too. I can't believe how thick it is. It seems like it just keeps getting thicker. I got his hair cut yesterday, that is his fourth one since 6 months. We have to get about 1 a month.

So last night I went to the toilet and came back out to find Ronin had climbed on his little table and was proudly sitting right there in the middle. I swear this kid will be the death of me.

Tonight is his formal graduation dinner. I got a sexy dress. (Of course the dress was sexier when I was 138 lbs as opposed to 145, with all the weight being in my stomach.)

It must be idiot day out on the roads here today. First on our way home I almost got hit my a young guy who decided right of way at the lights didn't apply to him and zooming around the cornr into the car that did have right of way is a great way to drive. Thankfully I had just taken off from a red light so was going slow and could brake easily, then further down the road some idiot kept walking across the road in front of my car. I was braking and pulling to the side bad barely missed hitting him. He walked right down the side of my car and I think he was under the influence of something because he had that look to him.
