Clara never really nursed a bunch at night and I was able to sleep right through it most times, especially there towards the end so that's probably why I miss that part. It was the most relaxing nursing I got to do. During the day it was trying to nurse while taking care of DS which was SOOOO hard. I swear, as soon as she'd latch on, he'd crap his diaper, EVERY.SINGLE.TIME! Oh crap, now I'm going to have 2 needing stuff!

You're going to have to becoming a BWing super mommy. Wink I've seen moms on thebabywearer.com BW 2 at a time!

my back is already acting up again like it did when i got preggo with Clara so I doubt I'll be wearing anyone, especially not anyone over 15 lbs. i have a really hard time bw'ing and bf'ing. my boobs are too big, they suffocate the baby.

Once the baby comes you can totally wear with big boobs! The trick is to wear REALLY high (like pretty much on your shoulder) which can be done with practice! And baby carries! It is possible to back carry a newborn in certain holds (pretty much wrapping though).

Back wearing has been much better for my back than front wearing which is why DS is rarely on my front. I don't have a horrible back, but it's always bothering me to some degree.

I'd seriously ask around on TBW if you're determined to figure it out. There's got to be people there who have done that in your big boob situation.

Well, Grady will be older which will be helpful. And Clara will be older too and hopefully keeping busy trying to annoy Grady. Wink

Do you like how I"m confident you can do it all when I'm terrified of just Aiden and a new baby?! lol.

i shouldn't say that, Grady is pretty helpful. As long as you keep giving him "jobs" to do, he's great. it's when he's left to his own devices that he gets mischievous.

Just a bunch of ladies running across parking lots. "OMG you can't do that!!!" or staring at me just standing a few feet away. Or telling me that DS will be a really late walker (which he's already a great walker now lol). And of course the "are you Native American?"

Nope. I told her I do this all the time and DS was clearly fine on my back by the time she reached us.

I told the lady about the walking that he's been walking for well over a month and loves to run now. She shut up for about a minute before asking if it hurts my back b/c "he's so big." DS on my back weighs less than my book bag did in high school, so no it doesn't bother my back more than anything else. I can wear him for hours if need be and not feel worse if the carrier is properly adjusted.

it's way easier to back carry them than it is to "prop" them on your hip when you walk

i don't remember where but in one of my college classes we read a study about kids in countries where bw'ing was the norm. this particular study was about cultures where kids were basically carried round the clock on backs for the first year. their walking rates were not affected at all, no developmental issues at all.

YES! I try the hip prop around the house and it doesn't work b/c DS won't stay in position. He likes to drop his legs and he won't hold on to me at all. When he's in a "mood" I wear my ring sling for a few hours and just pop him in and out as needed to shut him up. lol

it's really....different. i do like it a lot though. we had to watch it for my psychology class and write a paper on it but then i really enjoyed it so i watch it anytime it comes on.

i've had to stop picking clara up (at least as much as possible). i'm so scared my back is going to go down hill like it did when i got preggo with her and was carrying DS. that was the worst thing that's ever happened to me and i do not want a repeat.

Okay, I think it's time to attempt to jump hubby. And if not, well, there's nap time tomorrow. Blum 3

I finished my drink and 3rd one is a BAD idea with Stroller Strides at 9am. Lol

she's alright with it. i just spend more time playing on the floor with them, it's been kind of nice cause she's really into hugging me lately and she can get to me better when i'm on the floor.

the bad part about my back is it's already starting, just the way it did last time. hopefully though i can nip it now that i know the cause.

I am sooooo annoyed. I had a Santa pic done on Saturday. When I went in Wednesday to pick it up I was told it wasn't done yet. I went in Thursday and was told by the girl that she had printed it the day before straight after I left however after searching through everything in the santa photo box could not find it. I went in today and she comes up and says there is a problem with my photo, someone thought she was done with them so deleted everything off the card. I was so angry, glad I didn't pay for a pack.
I rang to see if Santa would be there tomorrow and spoke to the boss and he said Santa was done for the year and I explained the situation. He then searched the pictures on the card and some photos are still there, but it looks like Ronin's were all deleted. He said he was going to search through the photos printed as well to make sure it hadn't been mislabelled, but at this stage I haven't heard back. I'm really not happy. he took a really good photo and I wanted one to put up at work because the others I had taken were all put in cards and sent to people and the big one from the pack is for home.

I would be so ticked. That sucks! I hate when special moments like that are lost. Gosh, you girls were chatty late last night. Well, late to me anyways.
I love Beauty and the Beast. Such a pretty story. You'll have to tell hubby for sure. Cause we're dying here!!!!!
I'm with you Christa, we watch a lot more college sports than pro. I love college because the kids actually have something to play for instead of a million bucks.

Totally did not make stroller strides this morning. The pizza I ate last night (sure the 2 drinks didn't help) totally upset my stomach! Still plan to drag DH out later so DS can see Santa though. Smile

So Simon is standing there watching the Backyardigans and I swear I see his diaper fill up as he poops. Man I need a break today. I was up way to many times with him last night (not sure what's going on but he had one crying fit, and just restless the whole night) and my back is killing me (had physio today which seems to have made it worse), and I'm just beat. I need a nap!!! Someone want to come change a poopy diaper for me and keep him occupied for an hour or 2 while i nap?!?!? Pretty please?!?!?!

The idea of playing college players is just awful.

Wendy, I would be so mad. I hope they find the pics for you.

Jackie, sorry you missed your workout this morning, so did I. Oh well, maybe I'll squeeze something in later, but I doubt it. I may squeeze in to my belly some cookies or something...

I would change Simon's diaper for you if I was closer. Isn't it so weird to see their diaper filling as they are pooping? It's like they are growing a tail or something.

I hope they find it to, The one we chose was so cute Ronin had a massive smile on his face after all he had wanted to do was play with the tree beside the chair and play hit the chair with Santa

Aww Kitty I would change Somin's nappy for you, but it's a bit of a trip from here. Ronin did that to me last night, except he was in his training pants so I had to clean them out.

Wish me luck, I am going to brave the supermarket today to do my groceries. I'll also have a little boy with me who will want a nap by then because we are going to feed the ducks first if it doesn't rain before we leave. Even if I went straight away I'm sure Ronin would decide half way through he wants a nap so it will be a no win.
I'm on call for work and am terrified I will miss a call by sleeping through it or something.

I've decided that Monday that was going to be my missed class is no longer going to be a missed class. My motivation will be doing after Christmas shopping afterwards since chances are we'll be doing Stroller Strides in the mall. Lol

Today DH and I took Aiden to see Santa. No crying at least! During Aiden's nap we wrapped up his Christmas presents finally, and I laughed at DH as he put together Aiden's trike. Man tried going from step 1 to step 8 and couldn't figure out where he was messing up.
