Here is my comparison pic from when I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter and now being pregnant with this baby. Brookelyn's is @ 20 wks, and this baby's is @ 21 wks.

Such a cute bump. You look to be about the same size in those pics. Are you, or are my eyes playing tricks with me?

Thanks.. I might be bigger than last time, but being so much lower than my pregnancies I can't tell whether I am bigger or smaller. I know I weighed 190 when I got pregnant with Brookelyn and I was 183 when I had her. I was 190 when I got pregnant with this baby and now I weigh 176. They are really concerned about my weight loss.

I do everytime.. I have been seeing a Dietician sp? and everything bc of my weight loss. They said I should gain somewhere between 30-40lbs throughout the entire pregnancy and I am no where nears that.

I always hear about people being bigger for #2, but you're not IMO! You have the cutest bump right now. Smile

30-40lbs?! I thought 25-30 was the normal? I got major looks and warnings of "watching your weight" b/c I gained 40lbs with DS!

Yeah I thought 25-30lbs was normal too.. guess not where I live though. With Alexis' pregnancy I lost 21lbs and gained 11 back. With Brookelyn's I gained nothing and was -3lbs, and who knows what it will be like with this baby. They want me to eat/drink 3000 calories a day, and right now I maybe eat/drink 700 in a run of a day. It's not good, but I do the best I can. Most days I don't even feel like eating, and it has a lot to do with the stress I am under right now.

Wow, 700 isn't much calories considering how much you do in a day...add in pregnancy and you need A LOT more than that. A friend of mine has had some weight gain concerns during pregnancy (she works 8-9 hour days and doesn't get a lunch break or any break for that matter, and yes it's sadly legal in her case). She take an hour on Sundays to make a bunch of snacks for the week and puts them in individual bags so she can grab and go. Cheese and crackers, nuts, muffins, carrot sticks, fruit, etc. Can you do something like that? Snacking on something is better than nothing. Smile

Yes 700 is not a lot for sure.. considering due to my situation I have now become a single mother to two, and being the only one here with my girls means I do it all. So I am sure I burn that in a run of a day.

I try to have snacks when I think about it, usually I don't think about eating though. That is sad about your friend and crazy how that is legal for someone not to have breaks while at work.

Okay, leave the snacks out on the counter and in your purse! We're going to check up on you every now and then and make sure that you're eating enough! You've gotta stay healthy for these babies of yours.

I will try to do that and yes I know I have to stay healthy for my kids... without me I don't know what would happen, don't even wanna think about it either. I just have no idea how I can consume 3000 calories throughout the day. To me that's a huge amount of calories.

Don't think about 3,000 calories (unreasonable considering your current situation)! Just concentrate on eating healthy and just eating more, like small snacks that you can do on the go. Even premade stuff from the grocery store like granola bars will be very helpful for you. My friend sets her cell phone alarm to go off every 3 hours to remind herself to eat 1-2 snack "packs" of hers.

Yeah that could work you never know. It is crazy I am anal about feeding the kids breakfast, lunch and supper, but when it comes to myself. I am just like I will eat when I get around to it. I have always been like that though, but lately all I am getting is more bad news when it comes to my family so things have been pretty stressful and emotional around here. It sucks I just want one positive thing to even out all the bad things we have been going through. Thanks so much for being concerned. It's nice to know there is ppl out there that care...
