So for the bday gift we ended up getting her a ride on pony. Kid loves it. My parents got her this Minnie Mouse set that is a drum and inside it holds a recorder, tamborine, harmonica, etc. It's surprisngly not that noisey and it's her fave by far.
I ordered their first Christmas gift. They're getting this dollhouse: http://www.amazon.com/KidKraft-65054...rds=doll+house
It will be a joint gift for all 3 girls (including baby). It will be their santa gift as well.
I love the dollhouse!!
I love that dollhouse! I can't wait to get one for Zoe one day. :)
I have 90% of Christmas wrapped now. Just need to get DH to get down gift bags and boxes from the attic to finish up. And I should go ahead and get both sets of parents and my sister taken care of soon.
Ask and ye shall receive!!!!!! Addy's cousins have a really nice natural wooden dollhouse that they never play with (and she ALWAYS does whenever she goes over there), and finally agreed to pass down to her for Christmas!! I'm going to clean it up and paint it (at least partially) so it looks like a new one, and get some new people for it, and: VOILA!!!
This does mean it can't be from Santa, though, since I don't want to confuse the girls. :)
It's similar to this:

So I think adding some splashes of color will be easy and perfect!
Nice deal. I would def add some color to that. Could you Mod Podge some scrapbooking paper on the walls to make it look like wallpaper?
Ooh, GOOD idea! They always have books of scrapbooking paper at Ross for cheap, too.
This is the one I wanted to buy, and I think I can do something really similar:

My husband has it in his head that Aiden needs a fancy play set outside like the one Christa has for his big Christmas gift. I'm trying to convince him to wait it out till next year and make it a combined gift for them both. This way we can save up for it like we do everything else. Not to mention there is a FREE small toddler set that we can get from my SIL that was offered to us when we moved out here in the spring that DH is too lazy to get!!! :banghead:
Since we have so many toys with two older boys, we limit Christmas gifts to just a couple per kid. I have a plan to get John bristle blocks as he always gravitates to them at the museum and other people's houses. He loves to build towers with the wooden blocks so I think this will be liked and new!
