I just got Adair this super cute backpack with gnomes on it (handmade--at the store where my SIL and I sell our stuff)...she is really into the idea of having a backpack, and I figure now that all she really needs is like an extra pair of undies and her water bottle when we go out, sure kid, carry your own stuff! :D

I want to get a backpack for Evan too. I just haven't found one I super love. To be honest, I really haven't looked that hard.

I want to get Aiden one of the cute Skip Hop zoo backpacks. But that'll wait till a present sometime next year if I ever find a good deal on one. He's getting one of their lunch boxes (got it 70% off at Target lol) for Easter. Figured it would be good for park trips, beach, and such.

I'm having some serious struggles with consumerism this year. :) Made worse by the fact I can just click and buy on Amazon and Zulily.
So far T's getting:
More wooden blocks.
Additional train tracks for her train set
2 super cute T shirts
Undies with spaceships on them (seriously, how could I NOT?!)
A set of hardcover Christmas books
A purple hooded coat
Her first pair of black Mary Janes
Oh, and I convinced myself it was OK to buy 2 dresses & a night gown in size 3T because they were a good deal. I'm not sure if she's getting those for Christmas or not. Zulily is DANGEROUS!!
I also need to order:
A playdough press
Some slippers ... will look on Etsy
Some more books
I plan to get stocking stuffers at the upcoming street fair. Guaranteed, at least 60% of it will be from Leigh's booth. ;)

LOL Erin! I was so proud of myself for being way under budget and now DH is 98% set on buying the same swing set that Christa has. Yes, seriously. I'm beginning to wonder if it's more for him because he wants to play in the fort. It's not in the kid budget so his power tool money he's been saving up for is going to be his swing set money. The man is seriously giddy about this.
-
I'd be giddy about a swing set too. If he wants to take it out of his power tool money then give him your blessings!
Word to the wise: Do NOT look for little girl's slippers on Etsy unless you want to spend a good hour convincing yourself your daughter does not need $50 slippers.

Okay, but that's totally adorable, Jackie, you have to admit
Yes, Erin, zulily is the devil! I bought so much the other day! All those great deals add up.....!!! Oh well. None of it is stupid crap that will get played with once and then just gather dust, which is the main thing I'm trying to avoid.
And yay for customers! I'm so nervous about the street fair...I made some really cute bottle bag/toddler purses (like Adair's) so that would make a good stocking stuffer... :D

I want to get Addy slippers too, but I'm nervous about leather soles on our floors. They're pretty slippery.
