Cleaning Crib sheet

I though ours where just getting old and yucky but I think Odin drools a lot and stains them. I can not for the life of me get the stains out and its driving me crazy. I even bought 2 new sheets over the last month and they are already ruined. We have really hard water and I use Rock n Green for hard water and sun them to fade the stains. Anyone else have this problem or have ideas for getting them clean?

And what is up with yucky drool that stains???? We brush teeth and everything. He nurses to nap but not to sleep at night but I've never noticed my BM making stains like that on anything else. Its all just soooo gross. :puke2:

Have you tried Oxyclean?

Nappisan them, that stuff can work miracles. Mine are almost in pristine condition, but thats because Ronin hated sleeping in his cot (or big boy bed for that matter)

is it a recent thing? It might be because your BM has changed to accommodate for Archer and it's a different colour?!?

Apart from that...no advice, sorry

Chloe's do need to be washed more often than I am used to because of drool but I just wash with Tide.. it works for us.. I second the oxyclean.. hopefully that may work?

I'll have to grab some oxyclean at the store. Never heard of nappisan Wendy. I wonder if we have that here?

I noticed the change before Archer was born so ruling out the new BM surge. But Odin is big time teething and has been for like a month. Totally could be that. I'm changing them at least 2x a week or more and still it stains.

What color are his sheets? I've noticed that Teagan will get drool stain rings on lighter colored shirts but not really light. Like medium light. If that makes sense. Like THIS color but not THIS color or THIS color. Also, the fabric seems to make a difference. Cotton doesn't take up stains as badly as synthetic blends.

Yep, they are all the lightish colors and shades of cream, green, and blue. Also it's on the jersey knit and fuzzy ones and not so much on the straight up regular sheets.

When I pried Odin's jaws of life open last night for a good cleaning, I counted 7 teeth coming in. Ouch. At least we will be mostly done after that.

I think napisan is like your oxyclean http://www.vanishstains.com.au/.
I don't use that brand because I am cheap, I just use a store brand which isn't as oxy clean like, but it works so well. I had my old cabbage patch doll which was stained badly from years of storage, being dragged through dirt etc and was almost black, but soaked him and he is back to his normal colour.
