Well, I feel better to know I'm not the only one, lol! I'm using the preggo excuse as well, it is just too hard to chase a toddler for an hour in my preggo state, not to mention lift her up and down from her highchair multiple times. I actually need to look at the instruction manual for that high chair as I am 99% positive it converts to a booster seat, I just am not sure how to take it apart.

If it is just me and DD, there isn't much conversation going on at the dinner table besides me yelling at her for spitting her food out, throwing it, etc, unfortunately. If I put on the TV, she will eat all her food within 10 minutes, then the TV goes off and we can spend the evening playing and reading books instead of me yelling at her and chasing her around.
I did have success getting her to eat last night when I made cookies. I told her she couldn't have a cookie until she ate all of her dinner-she ate every bite and didn't spit any of it out. I was ecstatic, lol!
